This used to be a terrific place. Iâve given it a number of additional chances. Tonight is the absolute last chance. Service is ridiculous. We were forced to order appetizers and salads because we needed to get to a movie in an hour. I had been hoping to have an actual dinner. I donât care for the hard rock music. Salad was pretty wilted. Husband had a panini he liked but the French fries were not cooked. My friend couldnât even finish her soup. Never. Ever. Again.

LaBella's is a long time Hudson favorite. Unfortunately it's just not so great anymore. I was there a few months ago for dinner and then again last week for pizza. The dinner I had was okay but not even hot. The same with the pizza last week. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't hot. Service was pretty awful both times, but they did have a help wanted sign up for wait staff. I hope they can get their act together.
A cozy restaurant specializing in local, healthy food prepared with scrumptious flavors using recipes from around the world. Beverages, salads, main dishes, and sides are part of an all- inclusive, one price menu. Everyone will find something to suit thei
A light rain fell throughout the morning, producing shallow pools of waters scattered along the unpaved driveway. The attached parking lot has spots for about a half dozen cars. We squeezed our car between another and a food truck owned by the restaurant. One third of the lot was filled by the restaurantâs trucks. The balance apparently taken by the employees and customers. I ask myself how a restaurant could have so little parking for customers. The convenience of the employees is apparently less important than the dinerâs experience. No other customers were in the restaurant, so it must have been all employee cars, which filled the lot.Months have passed since I last dined here. The changes are a nice touch. A tiled bar area added, along with new tables and chairs. Gone are the folding tables and chairs I had last experienced. The ten-foot step ladder behind the bar, however, did little to boost the ambiance. No one greeted us, so we wandered over to a table and sat down. When someone did come through the kitchen door, we asked if we should just get plates and start. We were given the go ahead. The waiter mentioned having omelets available, but never came to ask if we wanted any.The âSpicy Fish Chowderâ label caught my eye, so I tried that to start. It was in the third soup container, well beyond my reach. Luckily, an employee was nearby and I hailed him. There were no pieces of fish in the chowder, just little threads of fish glued together with a bit too much salt.A giant turkey drumstick sat plopped on top of some sliced turkey, which had long since dried beyond the point at which it was acceptable. Turkey mole filled the adjoining tray, and it held no appeal to me at all, but my partner said it wasnât bad.I opted for what turned out to be a cold chili relleno. The greasy breading fell off the cold hard cheese, but I was able to eat some of it. The cold enchilada, though somehow seeming consistent with other offerings, offered no enjoyment. Hoping for a dessert to save the meal, I tried the mincemeat pie. While it tasted okay, it was not enough to save the experience. While dining I noticed the lack of music. All that could be heard throughout the meal was the kitchen staff, and possibly the waiter, talking on their cell phones. Iâm sure this was the case because the waiter passed us several times with the phone hanging off his ear. It would have been nice if he could have put it down long enough to take our order, or ask if everything was okay.Iâve dined here in the past, and always had hopes that things would improve. There was always an apparent love for what they were doing. That love seems to have washed away, though I donât believe it was a result of todayâs rain.Dear Richard,We really appreciate your having taken the time to write and share the problems you encountered at Micosta Restaurant since we always strive to give our customers an exceptionally good dining experience. I was out of town and had the staff that has been helping to build our business cover in the restaurant. Obviously they did not perform to our standards and we apologize for that. All company and staff vehicles are supposed to be parked outside of the close parking area, which would have given you a comfortable place to park. As you noticed, we have been working to make the dining area attractive and comfortable for our guests including a television system that normally has soft, relaxing music. Our policy is to greet customers and to bring water to your table along with a short order menu with options that can be prepared for you in addition to the buffet. We are still working to improve how food is served in the buffet, and apologize for the problems you found there. Folks who wait on you are supposed to be attentive and help you to find everything you might want conveniently. Some of the food is kept chilled so that it does not become damaged by the constant heat of the steam table. The food intended to be heated at customer request. As for the quality of the food that day, it appears that our standard was not met. We will strive to emphasize the importance of maintaining quality so this problem will not occur again.

Came here with a friend for dinner on a Friday night. The food is mixed. We shared a boneless buffalo chicken as an appetizer. For the price of $8-$9 we did get enough food and the sauce is delicious. We like hot food and we ordered the Thai heat sauce but it is more on the sweet side (and looks like it has been made from the Thai chilli sauce that you can get from the grocery stores). Nevertheless, the portion is good and the taste is great so I am happy with this order. The hamburger is another story. First of all, the bread is not the traditional buns and it is more like the chewy Italian bread. It's okay as it shows that they have their own idea of making a burger. However, the meat patty inside is not good. I am expecting a meaty juicy meat patty with some grill marks, but the meat inside is not so good. I think the burger is a disappointment. I asked to not have fries with my burger and my friend asked for "burned fries". The burned fries are crispy but a bit dry. I am fine with it as it is a conscious choice of my friend. Overall, two burgers (one with fries one not), an order of boneless buffalo chicken, and an order of ceasar salad with shrimp on top with two diet soda costs $37. I think it is a bit overpriced based on the food quality we got. Therefore, value is a 2 star. Food is a 3 star -- enjoyed the buffalo chicken but the burger was not good. Service is a 3- star. Our waitress messed up the order (but not in a way that would make us not enjoy the meal). Overall rating is a 3- star.
American Comfort Food and Full Service Bar. Located in Hudson NY. Sports Bar with Dinning Room. Open for Lunch and Dinner!
Anthony and the entire staff are the reason to eat here. Sure the food is great. Fancy? No. Good? No. Great! 225 is a place for locals to get a nice meal at a VERY reasonable price. Terrific cocktails at reasonable prices. Food is freshly prepared and portion sizes are perfect. Tonight I had the Meatball "sub" (for 10 bucks!) that was stuffed with perfectly seasoned meatballs, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Seriously - I could barely get through 1/2 of it. Even with the homemade chips! Maybe I shouldn't have started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip, but I did. Great beers too. Hopefully for us the hipster Millenials won't find out about 225.

Oak Pizzeria Napoletana is a southern Italian eatery serving authentic neapolitan pizzas, vast selection of small plates (antipasti), terroir driven wines and craft brews.
This is a surprisingly sophisticated Italian spot along antiques row, perfect for a leisurely lunch. In addition to excellent pizzas of all varieties, they offer some nice vegetarian side dishes that can be ordered to accompany the main course or stand alone as your meal. We sampled the Delicata squash, braised kale and Brussels sprouts, all prepared with a creative, assured touch. Their wine selection is extensive and reasonably priced. The staff is personable and the decor very attractive.

Vico offers a modern take on traditional Tuscan cuisine using the freshest local ingredients from the Hudson Valley in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Gluten-free and vegetarian options available.
Four of us had dinner at Vico. The drinks were completely overpriced. A shot of Macallan on the rocks was over $18. Small glass, lots of ice. A whiskey sour was $12 ... ridiculous. The calamari was over fried. A small portion served in a berry pint container??? weird. Then the main courses. The Osso Buco was delicious. Small portion but well prepared. The pasta dish, also small, was tasteless. The stuffed pork chop was chewy and a bit tough. The sirloin steak was also tasteless and quite tough. The waitress was hardly available... and yet initially we were the only clients in the restaurant. Definitely will not return to Vico.Thank you for sharing your experience at Vico! Although we're certainly disappointed that you did not enjoy yourselves, we do appreciate hearing from our customers and make every effort to improve in response to constructive criticism. Please know that we pride ourselves on delivering the highest possible value for our guests. Our rocks pour for example, is not a shot but 2.5 fl. oz. Our osso buco and pork chop average 12 oz. per portion, and pasta is 6 oz before cooking with an additional 6-8 oz of sauce. In addition, it is our policy to remove any item from the check that failed to meet our guests' expectations. All the best, Mark Ganem, chef & co-owner

My wife and I stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon.Place was busy.I started with a cup of pretty split pea soup served with a slice of warm sourdough bread. Very ggod start. For lunch my wife ordered the Panini alla Norma which was very good; grilled eggplant, tomato, pesto on gluten free bread. Most restaurants will not grill the gluten free so this was a treat.I went with Dawn's Delight salad: apple, dried cranberries, toasted walnuts, Gorgonzola over a bed of mixed greens and served with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Very, very good. The waitress seemed a bit indifferent but the food was good.Definitely worth a try.

OK NYC folk.... we know Italian food... if you fancy it up and charge more, it does not taste any better. Eating outside is ambiance NOT the taste of the food. Service is above average. BUT again food is average.
