We ate at Bistro 46 for our Daughters birthday with her children. I had a special Chicken Saltimbuco that was fantastic. My wife had the special Monk fish which was equally delicious. Our daughter had the Filet Mignon and was able to change the potatoes and vegetables served with the Short Ribs. Very flexible. The Grandchildren had pasta. Bistro 46 is a BYOB. The French Coconut pie was delicious and rich. This is the second time we have eaten here. I would eat there again.
Sal's in the Pathmark Shopping Center has excellent Pizza, and you don't pay extra for the decor !! One trend is to try to make Pizza Parlors look like a Mid-Class Restaurant, and charge you extra for that. No such slight-of-hand here! The room is plain, but the Pizza is excellent. They are busy, so the Pizza is fresh. Very Good Meatball and Chicken Parm subs too. Their Eggplant Pizza is very good as well, the one we had was very fresh. If you're anywhere near Lake Hopatcong, you'll get great Pizza here.

I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express right across the street and didnt want to travel too far for dinner. I picked 2 pasta plates: chicken francaise and a linguine in a spicy meat sauce with prosciutto. The chicken chicken was ok, but the francaise sauce was terrible. The latter plate was very good, but was stingy with the prosciutto. The pasta was cooked perfectly and portions were decent. Both plates were accompanied by garlic bread and soups. Didnt try the pizza, maybe next time.

We enjoyed the pre fixe luncheon at La Strada for my birthday. My wife had the Pasta Fagioli soup (close to her grandmotherâs) & Fresh Snapper, I had the Caprese salad & Veal Sorrentino. We enjoyed the flavors & portions were so generous we took home the two cannolis. Nick our server was superb. Highly recommend.

This is a very relaxing place to eat with so many menu options to choose from. The food is delicious and home made - authentic Italian dishes. The service is excellent - friendly and very attentive. The place is clean - best Italian place for authentic, home made, freshly prepared dish. The cheeses in calzone is the best cheese in town.

If youâre looking for a location with an extensive menu, this is the place. The food is really good and this time we had the âspecial pizzaâ. Our friends suggested ordering the pizza well done as their experience has been pizzas with lots of topping tend to have soggy dough inter all the filling. Their suggestion was right on and the pizza was delicious with a very nice crust. Weâll visit again.

We just recently moved to Landing so we wanted to try the local pizza place. The first time we got a plain pie. It was good but it was cold even though we picked it up when they told us to. I was desperate to like this place so we ordered again recently and got the special Vodkarita pizza. It was absolutely amazing!! Delicious! I hope they keep it around or let me order it still!

no visit to Hopatcong is 'complete' without a stop at The Grotto. This is a small restaurant right on River Styx road, near the Bridge. The Best Pizza perhaps in New Jersey, for sure the best in Sussex County! Love it! Lots of choices, not just pizza, hot and cold subs too, and desserts are available. You won't be disappointed!

The Windlass is a new and true lake experience. Brand new facility sporting a state of the art kitchen, unique antique boat bar, sunny dining room and ample outdoor dining. Our friendly waitstaff professionally delivers some of the finest prepared meals m
We went to the windlass for a large party birthday celebration. The service was good considering we were a group of 20 with individual orders. We had the short rib special which was the best weâve ever had. Would also recommend the teriyaki wings and calamari for appetizer. Thank you for your review! The ribs are great.
