The food here is excellent. One of my favorites was the tomatoe soup. I have tried pasta, and pizza there and it was all good. The selection of deserts are great. The resturant is small so make a reservation. They do have outdoor seating in the summer and do a fondue hut in the winter. Extraordinarily good food.Other than what is on the chalkboard inside the restaurant, there is no menu or wine list. The four course fixed price menu is what they are serving that day. Our first course was a delectable mixture of seared tuna, zucchini, capers, olives, lettuce, radicchio and who knows what else. The second course was a lemon, burrata ravioli in a butter sauce that was delicate and delicious. Third came a steak and potatoes with small pieces of rosemary, chives, eggplant, roasted peppers, kohlrabi and more. The dish was outstanding. For dessert we were served a delightful passion fruit mousse accompanied by passion fruit. By in large, the offered wines were Italian and reasonably priced. The four course menu was CHF 75 per person. We sat outdoors on the patio, but there is indoor seating as well. Service was very good.

This restaurant is located in Sempach old town, and offers outdoor seating, what was very convenient for a warm July evening. I had dinner there with my wife and daughter following a suggestion from the Birdland hotel front desk staff. Our servers were very nice and spoke good English. We had antipasti, pizza and pasta, as well as a tiramisu. This place is reasonably priced and we would like to visit again.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise mit unseren kinder. Der empfang war sehr freundlich und haben auch gleich einen Kindersitz erhalten. Die Speisekarte bietet für alle etwas, eine gute auswahl. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das essen schmeckte hervorragend! Wenn wir mal wieder in der nähe sein würden, kommen wir gerne wieder!

Pizza sind fein mit knusprig-dünnem Teigboden und je nach Wunsch (ich habe gerne viele Sardellen) belegt. Ohne Aufpreis versteht sich. Die Pasta al dente und die Pasta peperocini auch richtig scharf so wie es sein muss.Der Service ist freundlich und schnell.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years when it was the Märtstube - but this was our first visit since it became an Italian eatery. We sat outside in the pleasant evening temperature and started out with their Nüsslisalat, a large portion with plenty of warm mushroom, egg and bacon, then had the properly al dente penne all'arrabbiata as well as the spaghetti aglio e olio. All dishes were nicely prepared, the service by the young lady of the family was very pleasant and quick. We were quite happy with our dinner and will definitely return when the opportunity arises.

Bei diesem Lokal handelt es sich um ein Take Away mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Lokal ist sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal ist nett und speditiv. Die Portionen sind gross und der Preis sehr fair. Auch der Geschmack und die frische der Zutaten passt. Ich kann dieses Lokal für einen schnellen Imbisd mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.
