Home of the original XL NY Slice. Since 1956, Sbarro has been serving the XL NY Slice. Starting with made-daily hand stretched dough, San Marzano style sauce and topped with 100% Whole Milk Mozzarella cheese.
We were on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) and stopped at the Hinsdale Oasis. Rather than burgers or chicken nuggets, we were able to get buttered noodles and even split a sausage, bacon & pepperoni stromboli, along with the garlic breadsticks. The kids enjoyed the noodles and the breadsticks and at a reasonable price, we were back on our way on the highway after having a light dinner. The staff was efficient and helpful. It was nice to not have to get off the tollway and search for a restaurant.

Very nice and clean place, Had to sit at high tables which were not as comfortable as a regular low table. Place was busy and very nice music playing. Many TV's to watch a game. Pizza was good but Italian sausage tasted different from what I'm used to. Not bad, just different. The chicken Parmesan was phenomenal! Moist and tasty and so much we had to take half home. Ate good the next day! Very good, friendly and informative wait staff sets the bar high to other wait staffs! I will be coming back!
ALtamura Pizza is a take-and-bake/sit-down/boutique retail store front where everything is either imported from our home town of Altamura & surrounding areas or homemade. The pizza crust is imported and made with naturally fortified durum semolina wheat.
Having lived in Italy for 18 months I can verify their claims of authenticity. Bought 3 pies tonight for first time. Margherita, sausage, and a cheeser. For the family. Huge hit! Akin to the old âHomemade Pizzaâ that once occupied the same location. But better. Sausage is unique but not weird. Margherita was just right. And the cheese is spot on. Happy there is a new local alternative. I love picking up some pies in the middle or late afternoon and having dinner ready in 20 minutes (Iâm counting warming up the oven). Pizzas only take about 8-9 minutes (directions say 7-8 min) at 500 degrees. Crispy crust. Outstanding. So they canât replicate the atmosphere of Taormina beach (Sicily) on a warm summer evening circa 1988. But the pizza comes pretty close.

We were staying in Indy and took the train to Chicago for the day. Decided to eat here since our son and friend s said it was great. The pizza was out of this world best deep dish chicopozza I have ever had. The service was terrible we waited 20 minutes after we were seated for a waitress and she was not around much. The deep dish takes 45 minutes to make so keep that in mind. The lunch specials are faster. We ordered the lunch specials and one meat deep dish. One off our daughters friend asked for the lunch special but somehow she got a small pizza . We told the server why would you think a little girl would get that when all the other kids got the lunch special. So we spent 25 dollars for her to eat 3 pieces of pizza. Common sense was not our waitress strong point. Food was great hopefully you get a better waitress. We will go back.

From our family to yours, we promise to make a full commitment in serving you a pizza you cannot resist. Sincerely, The Distasio Family
Thought we would try the pizza as Baldinelli's since it was new to Homer Glen. I was very disappointed as I was hoping for a truly tasty authentic thin crust pizza. The sauce was very sweet and somewhat bland. The crust was not really thin, in fact it was rather soft and chewy. It tasted as if it were under done. The cheese was non-descript. The flavor of the sausage was barely noticeable. I wish Baldinelli's luck but they can not compete with Aurelio's or Fox's.

New restaurant just open last friday
We have dined here several times and they have been outstanding experiences. The restaurant is notes for its ambiance, food and its service. Usually outstanding. This past Sunday we went for their brunch with a party of five including a birthday girl. Service and ambiance were outstanding as usual but not so with the food. As an appetizer we ordered a mushroom pizza. Their pizza is thin crust and wonderful. The same for the burger. Not so with the corned beef hash, pasta and French toast entrees.. Pasta was nothing special, the French toast got just a quick dip in egg, and the corned beef hash had one inch square cubes of meat that was difficult to even chew and was left on the plate. We hope to return but not for their Sunday brunch. We know they can do better because they have in the past. What a disappointment.

No complaints about the ambiance or comfort although the noise level was a little high. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I met a friend for lunch and we were there a long time. We weren't rushed to order or to leave after eating. And, the place was packed. Our sandwiches were very good. I loved the oil and parm that came with our bread. The olives and peppers were a nice twist on a common offering. The wine was a generous pour. I wish restaurants offered a nice glass that was more reasonably priced - a decent house wine is always appreciated!

Went there with a groups of friends. Great atmosphere but for the price, the food and drinks are only average for the cost!

Title says it. Limited menu, nothing really outstanding...picata is good, pizza too. Can't get overwhelmed with this restaurant. It is good enough to do again...nothing bad, just nothing over the top in any category.
