Aantal uur onderweg en even Helmstedt in gereden om wat te eten. Deze prima locatie gevonden. Uitstekende pasta's en pizza's voor zeer nette prijzen (onder 10,-). Daarnaast vriendelijke mensen.

This restaurant was recommended by my Liebling, BB, and she was absolutely correct. I had pizza and bruschetta and they were both very tasty. The pizza was cooked very well, and had a great flavor. The atmosphere was also very nice. This is obviously a poplular place becasue it was very busy.

Das Eiscafe Dolomiti steht im Herzen der historischen Innenstadt von Helmstedt am Rande des Marktplatzes. Vom Hausmannturm aus ist man zu Fuà in weniger als drei Minuten hier. Wir haben hier eine kurze Pause gemacht und einen Cappuccino getrunken. Die Einrichtung des Cafés ist modern und gemütlich. Wir haben uns hier sofort wohl gefühlt.  Wir wurden freundlich bedient, der Cappuccino war gut und der Preis durchaus angemessen. Mehr kann man für eine kurze Pause nicht erwarten. Wir waren zufrieden.

Tasty pasta, very large portions. Was able to eat only half of it, took the rest for takeaway.The bartender was welcoming.Overall a nice and cosy place to stop by if you're hungry.

Pizza Garten is the last true pizzeria. While others closed or dramatically declined in quality over the years, this one still does the trick. At prices slightly above your usual take-away average, you'll get a decent pizza made in an old stone brick oven. The place offers a small number ofs eats (including kitchen view), though I prefer to preorder the pizza, driving by and take it out. Only downside: the variety of ingredients is limited (You won't get any basil here), but given the fact that Helmstedt is a remote town being far from a broad selection of fine restaurants this is just fine.
