Stopped for a coffee and enjoyed being outside so stayed for lunch and a beer. I decided to have a bruschetta and I could not finish it and is enough for 2. Outside closed for winter but plenty space inside. Open for all meals every day

I've eaten at Rossini 5+ times in the past few months. It is one of the few restaurants that is open "relatively late" for Haltern with orders taken up to 10pm - many other places are closing up at this time. The staff are young and very friendly and helpful. The schnitzels on offer are very good, my favourite being the champignonrahmschnitzel. Dishes are very fresh and come with side salad and are very filling. Pfefferschnitzel is also very good. It is advisable to book at weekends as even during the week its very popular. There is generally a "dessert of the day", which are usually local specialities and are very good. A variety of local beers and apple juices are available. Prices are very reasonable.I'd recommend this place to anyone - just get there early.
