Friendly place with excellent pizzas. Very animated place, at least a Saturday evening, where people come for take away as well as eating in. The pizzas were thin with a crispy crust - we just loved them. Four vegetarian versions to choose among, but the others can be modified as well.

The steak is ok. The flavors are good, however still needs to be improved. Our bigger disapointment was with the served bread, in the country of the amazing pastry and breads production, we were served with an sliced hotdog bread. Querendo esclarecer-lhe da melhor forma possÃvel, o restaurante utiliza três tipos de pão: Pão bijou e cacete- utilizado para as entradas nomeadamente as tostinhas ao alho; tostinhas ao alho com queijo e presunto e pão com manteigas. Broa de milho- é usada para a confeção de bacalhau com broa e dos Bifes à Berço. Por último, o pão de cachorro, pão de forma e pão de hambúrguer são utilizados somente para a preparação das refeições de snack. Looking at the menus of the restaurants in the streets behind our hotel (theToural) they seemed to be similar Portuguese fare but this delightful restaurant on the Largo do Toural main square had a nice mix of Italian and European fishes. The service is friendly and efficient. You can eat outside or inside if it cools down in the evening. The sea bream was excellent as was the pasta particularly the prawn tagatelli and a perfectly made lasagne. There is an good wine list too.

I have already eaten here several times and every single one of them I was not disappointed. The service is amazing and the food is the best. Itâs a hidden gem outside of the city of Guimaraes. We had lunch here. The pasta was nicely al dente. The chicken in the 'chicken pasta' dish was 2 nice sized breast pieces, not shredded, great tasting brown mushroom sauce. The octopus salad had a nice amount of octopus in it. PLUS, when we arrived in town the day before, with a malfunctioning phone sim card, the proprietor or head waiter? used his cell phone to call our hotel for directions for us. Very friendly and helpful even though they were all very busy. This is what makes Portugal great. The people!

The photos on TripAdvisor donât do this lovely restaurant justice. It really is a very pleasant place to enjoy a meal. We ate outdoors but inside is a pleasant space too. We walked past it one lunchtime and, as all the outside tables were full, we decided to come back that evening. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. Although not extensive the menu offers pizzas that are a little bit different to the âusualsâ. I had the âPizza Luzzoâ which was amazing, carmelised pineapple, portobello mushrooms and bacon. Hubby went for the âMiss Piggyâ pepperoni, bacon and peppers and he was licking his lips after it. Both pizzas were about â¬11 each. We had a very drinkable bottle of vino verde (â¬9.50) and two coffees to wash it all down. A competitively priced meal in a lovely setting just across from the main square in Guimarães. I highly recommend it.
