It was quite a good surprise to discover this small restaurant located at an inner road in Guaratinguetá, SP. Don't expect a fancy establishment or "haute cuisine", but a real italian restaurant, located at the border of an old italian community, run by a lovely young chef. She will be happy to talk about the menu and the connection with her italian roots. She will even adapt the menu to you.

Un accueil chaleureux et un cadre agréable, voilà de quoi bien commencer un bon repas, une caipirinha ananas rafraîchissante, une focaccia savamment préparé et cuite à la perfection, et en plat une tagliata de bÅuf délicieuse. Super repas et bonne ambiance, à recommandé les yeux fermés.

It is many years since I visited and it is even better. The setting and ensemble of ruins are awe inspiring. The museum is very good with excellent interpretation and well worth a visit on its own.

The patio of this charming restaurant is full of authentic Brazilian charm. The decor is casual chic , lots of wood , flowers and folk art. There is a lovely garden full of fruit trees and tables and even a hammock to relax in.The menu is varied with many delicious options. Many pasta dishes , risottos and beef prepared with different sauces from which to choose. There are also fish dishes availble.On of my favorites is the "Hot Salad" which has a warm balsamic vinagrette drizzeled over mixed greens , bacon and gorgonzola. I also enjoy the 4 Cheese Gnocchi.Ths service is friendly and the drink list is extensive. The Berry Caipiroska is refreshing.A lovely place to have lunch or dinner!
