Reviews on Italian food in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The inland city of Guadalajara is bursting with history and culture. Many attractions are in the city's historic center and in the neighboring city of Zapopan. Museums, parks and churches flourish alongside bullfights, rodeos and soccer (futbol). Nearby are the towns of Tequila, where the liquor of the same name is produced, and Tlaquepaque and Tonala, where artisans create an abundance of Mexican handicrafts. Mariachi, which originated in the area, is a common sight and sound in Guadalajara.

We know the place since a long time. The pizzas are good and also the pasta. The vine recommendation was also fine with us. The atmosphere is nice, you sit inside but also outside due to the open windows.

This Italian restaurant has very Good Service, and the food is good. The price is fair about 30 dollars per person. We went to the Location at the Andares Mall, so is a good place to grab a bite before going shopping. Would definitevely go back. PD try the cocholate cake dessert!

Looking for an amazing experience with Italian food while in GDL?, Look no further!, Funiculá is really a little diamond in the city located at the hot López Cotilla street. Margherita Pizza, Caprese salad and the Crème brûlée are truly delicious, you won't regret it!

Rest was good. Not the best italian food in the area but good. They had no garlic bread... A big NO NO in italian restaurants. I ordered the spinach ravioli which was very good in alfredo sauce. Pina cilada was good as well. Service was great.

This used to be a great place about 10 or 15 years ago. Recently the place is totally old and the cousine is really italian average to low average, and very expensive.Honestly if you are looking for an Italian restaurant that exceed your expectations, you can visit any other but this one.Is a restaurant that has more fame that real good flavor. Is really sad to see a Restaurant coming from a high level to thisEx. One Small Salad and a simple pasta with 2 drinks can get up to 850 pesos ( 50 dolars), average poor taste, small portions... service badWe thank you for your comment, but we absolutely don't agree with you.Our clients think we are one the best restaurants in Guadalajara particulary with italian food, our plates are constantly renowed using the best freshest ingredients using the best as well over 15 years, you can try other other restaurants in the metropolian area of Guadalajara there are 18,000. Please do us a favor and dont come back, since we have seen your commments and 70 % of the time are negative.90% of the comments we are get are beneficial ti the restaurant.Regards Massimo Pampaloni.

A completely disaster ...the octopus carpaccio tasted and looked like a ceviche marinated in so much lemons ....the pasta dish .....madonna ! I ordered linguine frutti di mare and they brought tagliatelle. I let them know and the waiter told me that they were linguine so I had to show a picture for him to see the difference between linguine and tagliatelle....then the taste of the sauce was just bad ...reheated and dried on the tagliatelle! Just bad food .....frozen cuisine ! lack of freshness and quality ingredients!

On a business trip, just wanted something Italian...right down the street from some of the major hotels. Got sat immediately, service on the ball. Had the Amatriciana pasta...wonderful. Spiced jsut right, not soggy with sauce, but not dry either. Just perfect in both the sauce and the pasta. and it comes with the salad bar (average salad bar).carrot cake ws great, not like a spice cake, and good hearty flavor. With a bar drink, and a 15% tip, it still came to less than 300MX. I'll be back.

This is a fine Italian dining establishment located in a leafy area of Zapopan. Nice neighborhood around. They have valet service. Went with friends and they have a good wine collection. The bread served was fresh and smelled good. Friends ordered Lasagna and Seafood pasta. Both were big portions and were fresh and tasted good. Ambiance is nice with good seating and they have a covered veranda too. Saw a lot of families on a Sunday afternoon.

El Italiano, since 1987 established as one of the favorites of the people of Guadalajara, you can enjoy our representative Italian dishes in a comfortable and renovated installations with an excellent music selection and cozy ambience. Ci vediamo presto!
Been there for a business lunch with a group of 10 and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and the speed of service, delivering all dishes for the group at the same time. I fully subscribe to all the positive reviews of food, quality and taste have been excellent.
