The municipality covers just over one square mile and had a population of 5,421 at the 2010 census. It is bordered on the west by Grosse Pointe Park, on the north by Detroit, on the east by Grosse Pointe Farms, and on the south by Lake Saint Clair. Grosse Pointe is about eight miles (13 km) east of downtown Detroit, accessible by Jefferson Avenue or several other cross streets. Grosse Pointe is one of five similarly named municipalities in northeastern Wayne County, and is often called "The City" or Grosse Pointe City.

Food, atmosphere and service was a 10!!Only had the house salad with grilled chicken, but it was excellent. Dining was great because acoustics were good and you could carry on a conversation. Our server was attentive and very friendly and efficient. Lots of specials during the week like buy one entree get one free; half off wine; etc. Will return

I like extra sauce on pepperoni - regardless, this is one of the best pizza's I've ever eaten. In my opinion, the pizza is equally delicious the next day cold too - the hallmark of a great pizza. In Grosse Pointe, they have a modest storefront with average wait staff. The facility in Warren can handle parties. The location in Bloomfield Hills is popular for after-work parties and meetings.

We come here at least once a month. We have never been disappointed. I order the breaded shrimp with vegetables. I need to ask them to go easy on the butter sauce. The dessert cobbler is wonderful. Service is great even at the busiest of times.

Friends recommended or we never would have gone. Very glad we did. Pleasant and comfortable decor, easy parking. The menu is large and diverse. The wine list while not huge is interesting and reasonable. Service is professional in every respect. Tried the house veal, the eggplant parm, and some pasta everything was delicious. One minor issue, the Caesar salad was a disappointment, the house dressing was bland, the Parmesan was insufficient and the croutons hard. The salad aside it was a most enjoyable evening, we will return.

This was so disappointing...the food is not homemade...the chicken is from a freezer and the sauce tastes like a can. They don't even serve bread when you sit down...they give you a basket with breadsticks in plastic bags from a cafeteria. Gross..food was lukewarm and how is it that an Italian restaurant doesn't have fresh chicken or Caesar salad? Horrible...very disappointed.

Dined here recently with family, there were 7 of us. We were seated immediately, had a reservation. Our server, Gianluca, was accommodating and friendly. The food was tasty and the portions were large. Since this was my first time here I was anxious to see if the food was 'true Italian' and it was. The restaurant is located in an area that was suitable for walking and shopping also.

Excellent service, food is average to above average, specials are always good. Reasonable prices. In the summer you are able to sit outside and that is very enjoyable

I went here a few years ago. The woman who is the owner was very nasty to her daughter (probably about 10 at the time), and other employees. Her husband would yell at her in Italian. My daughter knows people who worked there and hated it. The mosticcoli was very good, but I felt awful every time I left there due to the atmosphere.

Lovely little restaurant offer intimate dining space for Italian fare. We called ahead to reserve the window table that seats 6. During the week, they have a special menu for dinner for 2 at $45.00. Our party of 6 sampled the fish, pasta, and veal meals, all superb.
