We decided to try this place and it was actually quite good. Part bar part restaurant, the place is nothing special but the service was quite friendly and good. Eggplant rollatini appetizer was generous and tasty if covered with a bit too much cheese. Rigatoni with broccoli rabe and sausage in garlic oil was delicious. Minestrone soup was watery and disappointing. Would come back to try the pizza next time.

Very nice atmosphere with cloth napkins but not pretentious at all. Jeans are acceptable. Food is always beautifully prepared and tasty. Wait staff is always accommodating and friendly. More of a couples restaurant then a family restaurant. Daily special meals are very tasty.

The restaurant is a lovely white tablecloth kind of place, with excellent top-drawer service to match. We had excellent service from everyone from the host, to the bartender, to our waiter and servers, even the owner seemed friendly and engaging. Our food was good, but not great. I tasted fried calamari, fried zucchini sticks for appetizers. I had a pesto shrimp over angel hair pasta. Both the appetizers and the entree were good, but kind of ordinary. My wife and friends said the same about their food. The dishes were also a bit pricey for what they are. Full bar.
Was there for a family dinner.the food was just average at best.service and atmosphere is fine but for what you pay for your dinner it is ok.if you want a casual Italian dinner fare you won't be blown away but you will be satisfied.
I have been eating Mr. Assante's pizza most of my life. They make incredible pizza. My favorite is the vodka sauce pizza. It has vodka sauce that includes sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions and cheese. A slice of heaven. The pizza is thin crusted and generous with the cheese. I like the Caesar salad too. My dad always gets the Sicilian with the works. The calzones look good too. Great pizza place! Reliable and authentic!

Having not been here in about 3 years we were apprehensive about possible negative changes as BUT EVERYTHING IS GREAT. Their pasta dishes all rock and they had a new berry sangria entry - We couldn't get enough if it - warning - we ordered a pitcher of the stuff and it almost doubled our bill to be aware. Outside that minor item, the experience was exceptional and we both walked out with enough pasta for another meal.

We went to this restaurant on a weekday night and it was not busy, therefore there was no excuse for the poor service. Our waitress was more interested in chatting with people she knew than helping my husband and I. After reading us the specials and taking our order, she did not reappear to ask if we needed anything...did we want more water? Did we want more bread? In fact, we had to get up out of our seats and find another waitress who promptly brought us some water. Our salad plates sat empty in front of us for over 20 minutes. The table next to us was left uncleaned off until almost 30 minutes into our visit. .when someone finally decided to clear it off and clean it...I had never seen that in a restaurant before. I do have to say our meal was very good and plentiful. So I can't fault the food...But the poor service did indeed put a damper on our meal....I would hate to see how awful it could be if the restaurant were busy! I do have to say the young waitress whom we found was very pleasant and tried to be somewhat helpful but the older waitress could have cared less. Nice parking and pleasant décor, but I'm not sure we will be back too soon.

We like this cute BYOB and usually they delivery, sometimes things aren't as good as you would like. They bread is good, they forgot our appetizer we had to wait forever, we ordered a special we were not keen returned it.Smallish portions. Not too impressed will return to give them another chance, if we have another negative experience we will not return.

A classic pizza place!!! We were walking back to the car after a few hours at The Break Arcade next door and saw this place. My little guy loves pizza so we stopped in for a slice. I love seeing the old school pizza place and having a little chat with the woman behind the counter finding out that they have been there over 50 years. Thats amazing!!! Any pizza place that has letter boards as menus is good in my book. The modern place can keep their damn flatscreen menus. I did feel a little bad as the place was practically empty on a Saturday afternoon. We sat and ordered 2 slices and a drink, which is a special for $4.50. The pizza was really good...Nothing beats good ole Pizzaria pizza. The prices were very fair about $2 per slice and even 20oz sodas about $1.85. I would recommend this place to everyone. Support the local businesses!!!

A regular destination. We come here in small to large groups often. The food is always excellent and we are treated like family. The proprietor has a wonderful operatic tenor voice and will lead a chorus of "Happy Birthday" or offer his rendition of "O Solo Mio" when appropriate. I recommend Sunday Gravy or Zuppa di Pesce.
