A dire il vero il paese non offre granché, quasi sperduto sulla montagna. Ma questo bar si fa notare ed alla grande per la sua ottima granita con una squisita brioche! Bravissimi!

Il locale è molto ma molto rustico in quanto le tovaglie sono di carta ed i piatti (uno per tutto il pranzo) di plastica Non esistono primi piatti ma solo carne alla brace di 4 tipi: agnello vitello cavallo e salsiccia che si vendono in pezzature da mezzo kg ognuno antipasto rustico tradizionale di nessun livello e bruschette di pomodoro Abbiamo preso in totale 2 kg di carne cucinata sufficientemente bene ma di nessun pregio particolare - un litro e mezzo di vino due bibite contorno patatine fritte e pomodoro insalata anguria per frutta e gli amari per concludere e per un totale x 5 persone abbiamo speso â¬. 98 Lâacqua si prende alla fonte con dei boccali di plastica ... Non esistono servizi igienici ma solo quelli chimici ... il servizio non è stato comunque tanto lento e le ragazze che servivano ai tavoli garbate e efficienti La strada x arrivare tortuosa e non agevole Non penso che ritorneremo tutto sommato

A bit off the beaten track, and out of season, but fabulous Sicilian hospitality - from the 11 (!) different antipasti, to the penne fennel pepper dish, to the fish. And the bay leaf/fennel home brew digestif. Not pretentious, not expensive, just sincere, honest and really good home cooking.

I first reviewed the Flora in June of last year. Since then, the restaurant has under gone an extensive upgrade and is better than ever. A fresh layout and new modern toilets, Franco and Antonella work hard to prepare the best food in Graniti. The wood fired pizza oven is the great feature of the restaurant and the table and seating are built around it. Franco prepares the dough in the mornings and then fires the oven up every day before lunch and you can sit and watch your meals being prepared. Anyone who says that the service is poor must be talking about another place. We have eaten here many times and poor service is one problem we've never had. The antipasti is always good as are the pizza and home made pastas. They generally will have a "plat du jour" and I've never been disappointed but if you want to order something else off the ala carte menu then I would recommend calling France or stopping in beforehand to let them know so that they can be prepared. This is a small town but Franco and his family will go way out of their way to accommodate you if they are given a little notice.

Great presentation and extremely tasty food. Wonderful setting and fully deserving of all the rave reviews it has got.Visited mid July and the only downside are the gnats and midges that dine on the diners. But donât let that put you off - wonderful experience.

Well off the beaten track down a dusty lane and beneath a fantastic railway viaduct is a hidden gem of a restaurant.We were the first arrivals of the evening and what a pleasant surprise awaited us.A true family restaurant, with staff who welcomed our two year old and a children's playground discretely hidden away to occupy him for a while.We did not sit outside but that was an option, our main course of meat was however cooked over the barbeque outside.Excellent food complemented by wonderful friendly service and a most delightful evening.Testimony to the quality of the restaurant is that by the time we left it was two thirds full with locals including a large birthday gathering. If it pleases them then it's a must next time we are in the area.
