I took a spontaneous decision to walk in ,and take a table ,but was the right choice...elegant and cosy environment with small and suggestive design details...love to see when food art meets also Italian love for design...really delicious moose carpaccio with ,cantarelle mashroom and berries ...so tasty ! a tipical Italian taste adaptation of a traditional swedish flavours love it .

Bellora excels as a bistro type restaurant. The place was jam packed with a cosy, noisy and intimate atmosphere. The service is extraordinary; discreet and personal, waitresses in lovely dresses (the ladies obviously). The food was good the antipasta tasty and fresh, cod for main course really good (according to the young lady who dined with me) the meat dish that I had was.... well everyone can have a bad day, even a chef. No worries, I will be back for sure especially since the is a super nice boutique hotel above the restaurant.Dear LeifThank you for your lovely comments.I'm glad we were able to give you and your lady friend a nice evening. As an Italian living abroad, I'm always on the hunt of restaurants where I can eat some genuine Italian food and feel like at home. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here: the staff is very friendly and the food delicious. Absolutely recommended if you visit Gothenburg!

Small restaurant, few steps away from Gothia Towers. Limited choice from the menu and no opening shown to get anything out from it. I've got a nice piece of beef, tasty and soft, with assorted vegetables. Wine menù can be enriched as well, very limited selection for by the glass wines. Nothing special in terms of service and atmosphere but for a quick dinner it is OK.

Menu is missing basic Italian dishes, and what we got served was more like microwave supermarket food. Arrogant staff and not helpful or friendly at all. Also sat us on the closest table to the toilet even though restaurant was not even half full.Stay away.

We really enjoyed our visit here, the food was lovely - tasty and fresh. The place was busy but the waiter was friendly and did warn us we may have a little wait before we got our food. I could see that he was working hard but he always was friendly when he served us, even though It was me and My teenage children. I would happily go back here to eat.

This is a place we would gladly visit weekly if we were living in Gothenburg. Cosy atmosphere, friendly and attentative service, authentic, somewhat rustic Italian food (that is a compliment! Truly al dente, bravo), a wine list that makes us wine nerds go bananas. A very strong 4 this!!
