I was able to make a reservation on OpenTable on our way to Bravo though when we arrived, there were many open tables. We were seated immediately and enjoyed the bread and oil while our meals were being made. Both dishes we ordered were very good and a good portion size. The server was efficient.

Our Server was beyond amazing. 30 ppl. never an empty drink, bread basket always refreshed. I was a little worried for the set Banquet menu. Was I wrong. House salad dressing great. I had Chicken Parm. Chicken was crisp even under sauce. Cheese was melted and you got it with ever bite. Sauce almost as good as Mom's. Others got Eggplant Parm. Same reviews as my Chicken. Prices made me take a breather. So much less than I expected. Hundreds less. I live in West Mifflin and it is a drive we will make again. Thank You Silvioni's for making our special day even better.

I was visiting from out of town some close friends who recommended Gran Canal. I generally like small family run restaurants and this place demonstrated why. It's simple, friendly, and the Italian food was outstanding. Very comfortable place to enjoy friends and delicious food. When the chef/owner delivered our entrées, and thanked us, I had a clue that the dinner was a labor of love. I was not disappointed. We found on street parking with no problem, although I believe there maybe a parking lot in the back. We also made reservations on a Saturday night which seemed to be a good idea. It's a bit off the beaten path, not to far from Pittsburgh along the Allegheny River in Sharpsburg and well worth the drive!

The place is cozy and cute. It was a charming place; looked like an old Victorian house has been converted. The restaurant has 3 levels, and we were seated on the 1st level. The food was good, but nothing out of this world or extraordinariy to justify the high prices in my opinion. The seafood dish was in the $40âs and the vegetarian pasta was in the upper $20âs. I think they should have been in the $30âs for the seafood dish and upper $10âs to low $20âs for the pasta dish, but the place was packed, so obviously they are busy. I donât think we will be going there again unless they lower the price. We donât mind paying more for extraordinary dishes. This was a good solid Italian place, but was just good, nothing extraordinary. Been there and done that, so check off the bucket list, and onto another place!

After Hamptons 2018 graduation where my niece graduated from my family went there to celebrate. There was 19 of us. We got lots of appetizers (meatballs, fried zucchini, calamari, tomatoes and mozzarella, stuffed hot peppers ). Then we ordered a bunch of different pizzas. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was super patient and very understanding and super efficient. I would definitely go back and recommend to others. Nice decor and had a outside area to sit on but we didn't ask to sit there.

Stopped in for a business meeting for two, this was my second visit. I like the fish sandwich, very flaky, lightly breading, and a nice fresh bread. I've been there at least twice, its my stop when visiting customers in the area. I see quite a few people dressed in work attire, so it must be a local stop at lunchtime.

My wife and I have been coming here for years, but until now, I never bothered with a review. Their pizza is still my favorite and we always have a good overall experience. Our waitress was very busy but was attentive and always pleasant. They have a nice bar,but it is dominated by regulars and music volume is too loud. The restaurant, however, is a cozy comfortable area and the food is a great value.

Love this place. Old school space with wonderful Italian food. We had the Caesar, thinly sliced and very lighted breaded zucchini, stuffed hot banana peppers, and Ricoâs famous Angel Hair pasta with delicate cream sauce and imported Portuguese pinoli nuts. All were mouth watering. Rico spent some time with us at the table which toped off a must return experience.

Last night we were shocked to be at Piccolo Forno at 6:30 PM to find many empty tables. Given our past years of experience, of course, we were wondering why. We have been regulars at Piccolo Forno since its inception, enjoying innovative cuisine prepared with imagination and quality. Our recent visit was a grave disappointment. Instead of refreshing salads featuring such ingredients as fennel (gone!) or ferro (gone!) was something called Salad Verte, This consisted of welted greens, a few radishes and cherry tomatoes that obviously has been prepared much earlier in the day. By the time 7:00 PM rolled around it was presented as just plain soggy and unappetizing. Gone are the delicious mushroom filled crepes and vegetarian pastas. Instead, we found dishes such as heavy Pittsburgh style meat lasagna and non-descript tasting mussels. Piccolo Forno has been our "go to" restaurant where previously we have eperienced fresh, tasty and unusual dishes. Not so anymore. Its choices now gravitate towards the mean. In quality it has decended to mediocrity. Out of nostalgia we will give it one more try. If the fare does not improve, we will mourn what Piccolo Forno use to be and move on.

Visited there today. New Menu, but very, very limited. I ordered a California Cobb salad with chicken. It was mostly greens, my wife ordered the chicken fajita wrap with a side salad, it was mostly greens.Based on this experience we not plan to return. I was told NPL no longer owns the restaurant/bar.
