What a find (thanks to those who have reviewed it for the hint). Do all you can to visit. Wonderful and very thin crust pizza in a lovely, local place with super staff and away from the tourist trap that is much of Funchal. Dear guestItâs very nice to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your visit, we try to make our restaurant very traditional even for tourists we always treat them in the same manner as our locals. We both started with the garlic mushrooms which were very fresh very nicely cooked and very garlicky which suited us. We both like very thin Pizza base so you arenât filled up by dough and that is what we got. They were also very nice. The wine was also very good and very good value for money. The service was also excellent. Thank you

Don't be put off by the reviews that make out this is a very expensive restaurant ,it is not the prices are very much in line with most places in Funchal and indeed you will pay fifty percent more within two hundred meters . Despite being part of the Reids Palace this restautant is for everyone ( please don't arrive in shorts and trainers ) this is a special place with great food nod wine spoil your self and your loved ones with dinner on the terrace with one of the best views in Funchal .served by great staff you won't be sorry .Dear Bernard,Thank you very much for visiting us, and for writing your feedback about your dinner. We found La Pasta quite by accident while roaming about Funchal and decided to stop for a late lunch. We ended up going there 3 times in total and we found it the same on each visit, so they keep their standards consistently high.
