Really bad. The glass of wine we ordered was off and when we sent it back (full) they didn't take it off the bill. The pizza had tinned mushrooms instead of real ones (which if its a really cheap pizza might be excusable) but it was 9 Euros so they could have made it a decent Pizza. They also charged a cover charge for absolutely nothing, not bread on the table or anything.

This is my third visit to hotels des Alpes in foppollo. A business trip , lads ski trip and finally this year as couples. The owners and staff at the hotel are probably the nicest people have encountered in a ski hotel. It's an older hotel , but the rooms are spacious and are immaculately clean. We stayed half board and never made it all the way to desert. Salad , pasta course, main . Sweet , coffee all really good quality. Nothing is too much trouble for fausta and her team - extra pillows , late arrival - they waited for my wife to arrive at midnight and made her a cold meat and cheese supper. Foppollo is the perfect weekend ski destination Ryanair return flights are typically 50 quid, driving or taxi from bergamo airport takes just over an hour. Runs are typical Italian wide and pisted. 4 day ski pass about 100 quid, boot and ski hire sub 50. Prices on the mountain are less than half of the cost of mainstream resorts like cervini a . 3 beers , bottle sparkling water and a couple coffees came to 20 euros. It's just incredible value for money we will be back

Great service and meal! I had the house pasta dish and it was very good. My family all had various meat dishes and they were extremely tender. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant!

St. Ambroeus is 20 steps from the bottom of the main lift up the mountain. Run by friendly folks. Great pizza. On weekends there is a mountain buffet downstairs. Good meats and salads. We have eaten here at least 30 times in the last six years, nearly every day for lunch while skiiing.

I was at monte bello on Saturday night.I arrived with snow cat and I had dinner @this restaurant at the top of the mountain. The trip going up was smooth with great people very friendly. As soon we arrived we had a cold glass of prosecco .that was a nice welcome. Then we had dinner with traditional local meal.I had this polenta with cheese and grilled deer very soft with this amazing wild taste. After this I was so full but I couldn't say no to tiramisu. The best I ever had .That was what I needed to walk all the way down to the base under a beautiful moon. The staff was so professional and friendly.I couldn't believe how organized they are considered the altitude of the mountain.I highly recommend this unforgettable place.

K2 is more than a restaurant - though that is excellent. It is a great place to stay that is literally at the end of the road up the mountain in the Val Brembana.Since Foppolo is a very "Italian" resort, it is busiest on the weekend. Francesco in the restaurant will likely be serving up some grilled meats. (You can watch them and smell them behind the restaurant as you come back from the slopes to the ski room). We had a mixed grill platter with vension filet, wild boar ribs, lamb and veal. It looked like to much to eat - but it wasn't. We enjoyed several good meals here, but even in a small place like Foppolo there competition and since this was a return visit, we have another favorite close by. The apartments and rooms are all very clean, good SAT TV for tired kids in the evening. Ski down to the lift in about 30 seconds. The folks at K2 are fantastically friendly and will sort any issues out very quickly.Foppolo has a couple little shops within walking distance ( they are all down hill from K2 - remember that if you legs are tired )
