As the community of Florence has grown over the years, so have we, having shared our hand-tossed pizzas, authentic Sicilian dishes, and American classics with folks from all over town since 1988. Incorporating choice imported meats, fine cheeses, and robu
I arrived to order carry out on a Friday evening. This place HOPS to meet customer needs! The take out line was three deep, the phone was ringing non-stop, and the dining room was packed. So, the popularity among locals is quite evident. I was drawn here by previous reviews, one of which stated that Stefano's Pizza was the best NYC-style pie south of NYC. I waited a reasonable 20 minutes for our food (large extra pepperoni pie and 12 naked wings), was offered a view of the pizza (looked awesome) and headed back to the motel. Diving into the grub, we found that the pizza was good yet not great or even approaching the accolades of "Best NY pie south of NY." Tasty yet could have benefitted from some extra sauce. Things came to a screeching halt with the wings; these poor things had easily sat under a heat lamp for hours. No moisture left, biting into one was akin to gnawing on some beef jerky. Desiccated hunks of meat that were less that desirable. VERY disappointing! Plus, the pizza and wings totaled $31, a little high from my traveling experiences. In summary, Stefano's provides good food (some of the other offerings might be much better) and great service.Curtis, we take reviews like this very serious and your feedback is great appreciated. While we know we can not get it perfect every time, we strive our best to do so. We hope in the future you will give us another chance to meet your expecatations.

This place is your classic Olive Garden. Great staff, good food, and good times! I love getting the fettuccine Alfredo from here and adding broccoli! Just my little tip!

It all started in 1988 -- the Toniolo family opened Stefano's, a place where real Italian flavors thrived, fresh ingredients reigned, and customers always came first. We quickly became a Florence favorite, and to this day we're still making food with the
We aren't from here so we were trying this for the first time. Me and my husband got paninis and both were delicious! I got the Paisano and he got the Muffaletta. This is my kind of place! It is clean and the food is very good!! We will definitely be back when we come through again!
Most Popular Steakhouse food in Florence, South Carolina, United States
When we entered the location we were greeted by the chef Massimo. He has a small staff of 4 people. He makes every selection fresh to order and everything is made in house. He has new specials almost every day that are in addition to the menu items. He is from Rome and so his dishes are authentic Italian. You are started with home made cheesy focaccia bread and good quality olive oil. The caprese and bruschetta were good. The kids dishes are 6.00 a piece but large. If you have younger kids have them split one. We ordered the seafood pasta and spaghetti with sausage and onions. Both were large portions, with excellent flavors and good quality ingredients. There are 4 dessert options. Tiramisu, canoli, coconut gelato or chocolate cake. Prices are 14-20.00 per entree. Our family of 4 cost 47.00 plus tip. 15% military discount. I would put Massimo against any other Italian restaurant in the area. We enjoyed the family atmosphere and the personal touch.
