Elephant Bank is both a modern and authentic relaxed restaurant. That means we base our dishes on the classic Italian tastes and we are always looking for Italian ingredients that represent the sides of Italy that most local people may not know. Elephant
We visited early on a Saturday evening and they kindly slotted is in but booking advisable. Great vibe and the food is delicious. I had a pizza my partner the seafood linguini. Both were delicious. Service was very efficient and friendly. Loved this place.

I dont know what has gone wrong here but the food has really deterioriated. Had the seafood pasta but wasnt told that flavour was not included. It was totally tasteless. Also the sea bass dish was very poor. It seems that the poor fish had been in a fight - and lost. It was ridicously small. Service as good as ever. Sadly, will be giving it a miss and hope that whatever has gone wrong improves.Hi Derek,Thank you so much for taking the time to give feedback following your visit to Gusto Heswall on 16th October. It is our aim to ensure that all our guests leave our restaurant having enjoyed their visit but unfortunately on this occasion we did not achieve this. I have spoken with my team and we have taken all of your comments on board and will use this to improve all areas of our guest experience. If there is anything further I can help with please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you,Gusto Heswall

Iâm not local to the area but on trip advisor ratings decided to visit. Thereâs on street parking outside the front door and parking at a small shopping precinct opposite ( not sure if rules apply there). The restaurant was very quiet but waitress very attentive without being too keen.. in view of how quiet it was. Good menu with plenty of choice for Italian food. Although Iâd gleaned that it was Mediterranean from reviews, I believe the menu was mainly Italian. I had a pasta in cream sauce. And garlic bread.. which would have been ample for 2 people. My dining partner had a very substantial pizza which had fluffy dough and loads of filling. The staff chatted to us and were very friendly ( without interrupting our meal). The price was reasonable so overall very pleased. I needed an itemised bill to claim back expenses, but this wasnât available... only the till receipt for bank info. BUT very obligingly ( and going the extra mile) a receipt was e mailed to me... so all good. Itâs really not very often that an establishment cares enough to be flexible and creative. Well done to everyone involved. Iâm unlikely to be in the area again , but would definitely go back if I were.
