While driving the back roads of Hunterdon County we recently came across the Stanton General Store which is a really nice Deli/Restaurant that offers a great menu selection of sandwiches, pasta dishes, salads, traditional & gourmet pizzas, and ice cream. You canât miss this place; itâs the only one around.

Out and about on the covered bridge artisans tour and googled restaurants in the area. This one came up. Three folks indulged in starters that included sriracha cod bites that were surprisingly tasty fried fish balls and pierogies 3 to the plate also very good. Sandwiches were typical with the exception of French fries on the italian hot dog. Which as it turns out was quite delicious. Service was great

With the proud of serving more than 20 years for the community we are not hesitating to claim ourselves the best diner and Italian pizzaria around 5 mile radius minimum.
This little place was a surprise we stopped in just before 3:30 and the transition to dinner menu. We had chicken franchese with pasta the delicious off the hook lemon sauce. we also had chicken stuffed with ricotta and spinach with roasted zucchini very good. Gonna go back again for dinner menu. the back dining room is the place to dine for me it was a hidden gem I didn't know about

I have been ordering regularly from Lenny's since they opened and have yet to have any pizza I don't absolutely love! I am particularly fond of the old fashioned with sausage which is sweet and delicious! The owners are often there, friendly, and customer oriented. Everything they do here, they do it right! I must admit, I haven't tried dinners or sandwiches, all I can say is that the pizza is top notch!

Today my wife and I decided to try a Sub at Viramiâs for lunch. We ordered a whole Special Sub (ham, capicola, salami & povolone, lettuce & tomato with oil & vinegar) to share and glad we did. That sub was really large and filled, the bread was fresh and warmed and best of all it tasted great, and all for just $8. We were so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the sub for this review.

The ambiance is pleasant but definately gives the impression of a national or regional chain rather than that of a local restaurant. Service was good. On the positive side, dinner was preceeded by a reasonably sized salad served for the four of us. Quite pleasant. I ordered the Chicken Giambotta (one of my favorite dishes at Italian restaurants). The serving was generous and was accompanied by a side order of a pleasant spaghetti. Unfortunately, I found the sauce on the Chicken Giambotta to be overly sweet and not something I would order again. My wife had the Chicken Caprisse. Her chicken was breaded and cooked quite well. And there was a lot of chicken. But the only accompaniment to this dish was an arugula based saled. Ii should have been served with a side of pasta. Two members of our party only ordered soup (Pasta Fagioli)) which was quite good and either a Caesar Salad or an antipasto. The soup was good. The antipasto and Caesar salads were OK Prices were quite reasonable. There was nothing to really complain about, but there was nothing to rave about either. I doubt that we will return. Al Fresco was simply not our cup of tea.

A local contractor suggested meeting here. I arrived early and had a slice topped with chicken, balsamic reduction and roasted peppers. Wow! Delicious even buying as a single slice. Busy place, lots of customers. Will definitely return.

Cheesesteaks are decent, except their home made bread is a little too thick. They have a guy working there that's always in and out of jail. Don't trust them anymore with my food or ANYTHING, especially since they keep letting the guy come back. Pizza is alright, usually not done enough.

Had a very nice dinner here during restaurant week, 3 course meal (choices from a set menu) for $35 per person and it is BYOB. The food was very good, I enjoyed eggplant rollatini for my first course, braised short ribs over risotto and tiramisu for dessert. The food was nicely prepared. The braised short ribs were some of the best I have had. My only complaint would be that the restaurant was very loud, so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation at your own table. This may have just been due to the crowds during restaurant week. Service was excellent, I would definitely return

Formerly Yordana's Ristorante
Okay food. We actually got off on the right foot with the appetizer special, spicy sweet calamari. Excellent. Thick slices of calamari slightly breaded, with a tangy sauce and hot red peppers. So our hopes were high. Alas, the main courses (lasagne and one of the entree pasta specials) turned out to the standard Italian fare you find in any small town. Filling. Overloaded with boring red sauce. Forgotten five minutes after you left the place. For that, the prices were amazingly steep. No alcohol but you can bring your own.
