We ate there for my birthday. I was super excited because it seemed kind of fancy and they offer a foie gras pizza. My wife got one of the variations of ham pizza. Mine was pretty good (at least interesting). My wife's was barely edible. It seems that putting a ridiculous amount ham on pizza is endemic in France. On top of that the service was mediocre too. Hate to be so blah, but it was a disappointing experience.

Great italian pizza in the French Alps. For take away (emporter) note carefully the limited hours - see menu.

grand salle avec un Patio couvert sur l'arriere du restaurant
went here for dinner, had a carpaccio, which was not the italian way, next a past with tomato, bacon and red uniors, which didn't had to much flavour. They try their best but currently don't manage to reach a very good level.

Coming from America where there is a variety of excellent, innovative, gourmet pizza...pizza in France is generally disappointing. Unfortunately this place stood out for being not great. The setting leaves plenty to be desired and the pizza was not good. As usual in France, they put way too much ham on the pizza, which made it nearly inedible.
Superb hand-stretched thin pizza bases with excellent toppings. Those wanting frozen style pizzas will be disappointed. The couple hat run this pizzeria are extremely hard working and a pleasure to deal with â they take telephone orders. This is a take-away service, with outside seating available.

This little pizza corner (there are a few tables, which seat around 12 or 18 people - but they specialise in take-away) in Doussard makes a good, reliable and fairly priced pizza. The staff is friendly and open, and do their best to accommodate to foreign visitors (though speaking a few words of French is always welcome!). They have a few bottles of wine on the menu, as well as beer. But it's clearly not their specialty. You can also get coffe and other beverages. The pizza has a slightly chewy, medium thin crust, with a balanced portion of fresh ingredients and good sized portions. Although the opening times say 18:00, seating isn't available until 19:00. Though you're welcome to wait outside, if you want...!They also have lasagna on the menu (looked really good, though I didn't try it) and hamburgers of various sorts. The only disappointment was the salad, which was a handful of green lettuce leaves drizzled with oil and vinegar. Not bad as such, but underwhelming in terms of variety, creativity and panache - very different than the pizza, in effect!
