First time at this lovely little restaurant, excellent service and food, quite a varied menu although Friday night is barbeque so we had the steak, yummy. Tom, cooks it over an open wood fire and it is delicious. If you have room try their desserts, especially the coconut cream pie. Everything is homemade, it is worth the drive! Although we arrived early most tables were reserved so you might want to make a reservation!

I am a Pizza lover. We actually drove to Sydney to try Kenny's Pizza. We were not disappointed. I only wish that it wasn't 10 AM because I could have eaten more slices. If you like pizza and your in Sydney make sure you stop in for a slice or two

Had lunch at Joe's and was pleasantly surprised to find new options on the menu, like their Pasta dishes, with chicken, scallop, shrimp, muscles. I had the Linguine Martinique. The scallops were huge, shrimp were the largest you can get and the muscles were perfectly cooked in a white wine and olive oil sauce, very light, although they do have the Alfredo sauce with Chicken which I will get to another time. A large portion and a nice hot bread with mozza cheese on the side. The waitress was lovely and when asked obliged to sprinkle some fresh parmesan on top. Will definitely return.

A restaurant focused on serving up delicious Italian meals at great value, all in a family oriented, fun and casual atmosphere.
Food was not as good as we had before. No ceasar salad due to the problem with romaine lettuce. Had garden salad only although I would have been satisfied if they had simply used regular lettuce for their caesar salad as the garden salad was not good. Hubby always gets the minestrone soup and it was now very good Ending up sending it back for another kind. Lunch specials are good but we were too late. Dinner was expensive.

Restaurant, bar and coffee shop. Glace Bay's place to Take a Load Off!
We were greeted and promptly brought to our table! The decor has changed and improved. The menu has also changed with the new cook. Our meals were tasty but we waited for a very l-o-n-g time to receive our meals! The waiter was very pleasant but he had so many tables to deal with. The hostess (owner I was told) could have poured the water, checked on other beverages, etc. but she did nothing but sit up front after seating people.Helping with the above would have allowed the pleasant server to deal with delivery food.

We ordered a medium pizza for takeout on the way to our hotel as we were hungry after the drive from Halifax. We asked for black olives, green peppers and mushrooms. It was larger and more expensive than I predicted. Hard to tell since the pizza prices are not on their website. It tasted good, filled the bill and it lasted three days, and we ate the whole pizza! It looked like the pizza in the photo.
