Edison Pizza & Italian Restaurant has been owned and operated by the Mandreucci family since 1967. Our goal is to provide our customers with the freshest homemade traditional Italian specialties, while treating you like part of the family. Only the finest
We got some take away pizza and it was quite average. Nothing to make you crave their pizza yet nothing to complain about. Haven't tried anything else there so my experience is only based on their pizza

Pizza and Delic
This has very good food. It is a nicer kind of pizza place with some very good sandwiches. Pizza is solid but the stars of the show are the sandwiches. Place is tight and can get busy during lunch. They have a waitress which is really weird and completely unnecessary, but always very nice.

A NEW CHAPTER FOR MANGIA TOSCANO Mangia Toscano Will Reopen in October as a Full Service Restaurant & Caterer Gina and Edoardo will always remember the warm reception Metuchen gave them and their food, and their many customers. The new owners are Alberto
Mangia Toscano opened upon our return from Italy, and I get to return every day. Gina or Edoardo start a grande cappuccino (or latte) the minute I walk in the door. Fantastic homemade bread, baked goods and big sandwiches. Sign up for the daily specials and email list, and get there early for the cornetti filled with amarena jam. By the way, the large pizza is the entire giant pan, which fills 2 pizza boxes! Topped with anything you like, or a very wide variety of fresh hot entrees and sides. Call to see the pasta being made!

Came here for the first time with friends last night and the food and service is fantastic. It's also a BYOB which makes it even better. The portobella mushroom appetizer was delicious and I highly recommend it. My husband got the NY Strip and boy was it huge, he could only it half of it and we brought the other half home. The pork oso bucco is to die for, meat fell right off the bone....definitely will return...

We went there for dinner and we had fried calamari and octopus as entree. While the calamari were delicious the octopus was served with peas and sauce which extremely strength the taste of this fish. Same story for branzino: extremely good quality of food but too much dressed with other flavors. Sweets were nice.Surely it deserve another visit as the quality of ingredients is excellent however I suggest to make things simpler.

Gennaros is a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant that has a dining area, a catering hall, to-go, delivery and outdoor dining options. There is parking in the back. Service is fast and friendly and the food is great and prices are reasonable. Well worth a visit or an order for delivery or takeout.

Our group met here for lunch as they liked the wings. I don't eat them but I had the extra cheese margerita pizza. It was thin crusted and nicely prepared. The only problem was the level of noise. It was so noisy I could hardly hear the person sitting next to me. Service was very good though.

You can find plenty of pizza shops with the standard double deck pizza oven, but we wanted something different. So off to Antonio's we went. Tucked in the middle of the block in downtown Metuchen, the brick oven pizza was very good. Would welcome a thinner and crisper crust version next time we go!

The place was empty and upon entering we were asked if we had reservations, which we didnât. The root veg clams casino was disappointing, as was our dinner. Service was poor and slow. Our server was busy sitting at a table chatting with, I assume local diners, and barely checked on our table. Very disappointed in the whole experience.

We literally drive from Long Island to go here, this time we stayed at Crown plaza Edison, and spent the day at Long Branch, very nice. The Seafood Tower Special for Two, $39, includes Lobster, Tuna, Clams, Shrimp, Oysters, Fruiti de Mare. I was full just from that. Always love the Rack of Lamb, Veal Chop was just OK. I think maybe next time share an entree or just order 2 more apps. Never know what to order anyway, too many choices. And of course BYOB!
