Opened in 1990, freshest pasta in town. Also thin crust pizza, carpaccio, salads, veal and the best cappuccino. Also visit Pags Wine Bar and Pag's Pub & Pizza directly across the street.
Arrived 5:30pm on a Friday night. No host or hostess to seat. Chose teeny-tiny table outside. No one was in any hurry to provide service. An issue here is that the wait staff work in teams = No Accountability. This approach may work in restaurants with professional wait staff, but not here with college age kids who probably have on,y a vague idea of what constitutes good service. I ordered the mushroom salad to start and it was a joke. The âmushroomâ was a SINGLE white mushroom of the variety you can buy at Acme, sliced thinly on a mandolin, atop ribbons of dark green lettuce, scant dressing, covered with two thin slices of Parmesan cheese. I would have asked for more dressing if I could have located a waiter. Bread was finally delivered just before our entrees (about 40 minutes after we sat down). My wife enjoyed her caprese salad. I ordered the spaghetti putenesca as my entree and it was flavorful and delicious. Bottom line: there are areas of this establishment that need some attention from management to make this a more enjoyable dining experience.

I live right around the corner from this restaurant and have never gone. I thought it was a small pizza place. I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked in to this beautifully appointed Italian restaurant. And the food matched the decor - all exceeded expectations. I had the Penne Andrea (chicken, asparagus, sun dried tomatoes in white wine sauce). It was so delicious I don't think I'll ever order anything else! The side salad with balsamic vinegariette was also delicious!

After we finished our morning hiking at Peace Valley Nature Center, we were ready for lunch. We weren't really ready for the downtown Doylestown atmosphere. Roman Delight was nearby, and reviews on Trip Advisor were good, so we decided to give it a try.Roman Delight is not a pretentious place as are many of the downtown restaurants. We were in a nice family type restaurant. Both of our salads were delicious. I went for the Mediterranean salad, which is their Caesar salad with (7) grilled shrimp and lump crab meat and fresh croutons. My husband chose the Italian salad with grilled chicken. He liked the mixture of tomatoes, peppers and onions, and the grilled chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We asked for and received oil and vinegar on the side, instead of Caesar dressing, which would absolutely have overwhelmed the delicate lump crab meat in my salad.A reasonably size glass of wine was a very reasonable $5.75. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices overall were reasonable for what we received. All in all, we really enjoyed our lunch at Roman Delight and certainly would go back if we were in the area again.

Right in town, this BYOB offers a great variety of individual pizzas cooked fast and fresh. Their extra hot oven has your order up in minutes. Order the Fra Diavolo pizza, a salad and bring a bottle of Aglianico. Perfecto!I Prefer to sit at the pizza bar. The dining room is a little too quiet and the ambiance is sparse.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at Boccadito following a movie at the County Theatre. We had made a reservation, which was fortunate, as this tiny gem is very popular! On a cold evening, the hospitality of the staff was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our wine (BYO) with the house antipasto (shrimp & scallops in a puff pastry), and our entrees (branzino filled tableside with shellfish in a tomato broth, and t-bone with crabcake), and steamed asparagus. Everything was cooked perfectly, and service was relaxed and well-timed. A memorable evening. Boccadito could be our new favorite Italian restaurant in Doylestown!

I haven't given too many five star ratings but this unassuming oasis in a strip shopping mall is certainly deserving. We had five meals and all of them were exceptional. Made to order dishes with ingredients so fresh you can taste the difference. I had the Chicken Carciofi (Francais style chicken breast, prosciutto, artichoke hearts, grape tomatoes, capers, sharp provolone, white wine lemon broth angel hair pasta). Pleasant interior but not spectacular ambience but very good service to go along with the excellent food.

There are a plethora of Italian restaurants within 20 miles of Doylestown, PA but Bocelli's Restaurant has one thing that the other restaurants don't...consistently great customer service. Yes, the food choices are great, the serving sizes just right but the service is what differentiates them from all the others. Find some time and head to Doylestown for your own great experience.

Letâs go to an early movie. Letâs Have dinner. Sure Where. Your choice. Great choice. The restaurant has two buildings. Two separate buildings in which to dine. We were greeted warmly with smiles and hellos and were promptly seated. Area was fresh and clean. Menu was awesome with such a variety. BYOB.Splitting very large single salad Ok. Even split the hot very tasty mushroom was ok. Server delightful and attentive. My Lasagna Della Casa came in a casserole dish. Hot Bubbly and had great taste. We all enjoyed our meals. Leave room for the chocolate pudding!

Genevieve's is always at the tip of some of my acquaintance's tongue went they are choosing a place to eat for the evening. I finally got to try it while my mother and I were in town.We were not disappointed . It is a simple small place where the chief is hands on by coming out to see how everything was.I had the kale salad with grilled chicken and my mother a veggie burger. All fresh and good.I would go back.

This is an unpretentious little place in a strip center at the northern edge of Doylestown. The chief and I hadnât been there in years, so we decided to try it after an event we attended. Itâs a BYOB and while we had a bottle of wine, there were folks there with their own vodka too. The menu is upscale italian and there are several specials. The chief and I split a ceaser salad and she had the shrimp and I had the soft shell crab special. The place is now owned by a nice young couple. The wife runs the front and the husband is the chef. Try it!Thank you for the lovely review. We strive to give our customers the best dinning experience possible. We appreciate business and we hope to continue to serve you for years to come. Warmly, the staff at Il Melograno
