We visited on 31 July 2019. The place was large and cavernous. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but it was our Wedding Anniversary and despite advising the waiter, he sat us next to a table of women who were out to get drunk. We would have preferred a quieter area of the restaurant where we could have talked without having to shout. It was a busy time i.e. the 7.30pm sitting so the restaurant was busy and being the tourist season it was frantic. The starter was okay I had the Mozzarella and tomato with vine leaves. The main course was the Parmigiana which was quite nice although a part of the chicken didn't feel like it had been cooked so I didn't eat all of it. The dessert was the cheesecake which was slightly disappointing as it hadn't set properly, but at least you knew it was home-made. I had a small bottle of Prosecco. I think overall if it hadn't been so busy it all wouldn't felt very rushed. Not sure if I could recommend it, would need to go back. My husband said that his Swordfish meal was incredibly salty. We didn't have any wines, so at £60 it was quite expensive for what it was.

The pasta dishes are simple but well cooked and very tasty, the Irish coffee was also very good. The service we had was fine but then again the restaurant wasnât too busy. The restaurant decor is nice but not the best for the waitress with a small spiral staircase that needed to be negotiated while carrying up trays of food and drinks and she didnât seem to be the best at multi tasking so was up and down far more than was necessary.

Freshly Stone Baked Thin Italian ,DeepPan or Stuffed Chrust Pizzas!!!
One familiar with small pizza takeaway businesses in Dover, and generally a lot of the South East, would have come to expect a thick, doughy and fluffy base, with too much tomato sauce and enough greasy cheese to lubricate sandpaper. Not Pizza Sprint. The base is thin enough to be authentically Italian (Italian-style being their main advertising point), the sauce is absolutely wonderful and the balance of cheese compared to toppings is nigh on perfect. I have sampled many pizzas from Pizza Sprint (my favourite being the Padana, however my brother loves the Bolognese and my girlfriend the Hawaii) over the years since they opened, and never have I had a single bad experience. As well as pizza so good that it may as well have been made in Italy, the service is prompt and friendly. Many times have I been told over the phone that the pizza will take around an hour, to be pleasantly surprised 30 minutes later. The delivery driver is always warm, talkative and friendly - a credit to Pizza Sprint's service. And the man at the oven himself is never rude or unhelpful (once ordering without a menu, he kindly went through different suggestions - very patiently). Even on the rare occasion I have collected my pizza instead of having it delivered, the chef and the driver are welcoming and chatty - making receiving the pizza just as enjoyable as eating it. And at the bargain prices offered by Pizza Sprint (two large pizzas for under £10!), it's no wonder that I have not introduced a single friend to this takeaway who did not enjoy it.
Recently renovated, The Boardwalk Café has taken over from the old Waves café. Great quality premium Italian coffee and fantastic snacks in a comfortable environment. Whether you want to come for a great coffee shop experience, or you need a break while s
Fairly good coffee served in this cafe. Nothing special but ok for a quick refreshment break. Reasonably priced and plenty of places to sit down. There is even a child soft play area which is quite handy for the kids.
