Sweeneyâs is one of our favorite's in Brentwood, truly enjoy the food & the service is friendly & great. Sometimes it get pretty crowed, but its worth the wait. I had some minestrone, along with some meat ravioli, we started the meal off with some crab cakes which were perfect, could of made a meal of just them. The bar is always full and a great place to hang out. If you out in Brentwood make plans to dine in and enjoy the food and atmosphere, highly recommended.We're honored to be one of your favorite places in town! This is a modest sized restaurant facing a parking lot (from Balfour Road, turn north on Fairview and take the first driveway to you right). The place was crowded. The service was somewhat slow, but several waiters were working. The food was outstanding. I started with the New England clam chowder, which was served in a small bowl. The broth was very creamy and thick with the clam, potato ,etc. pieces. It was very delicious. Then I had the veal lemonie. The veal was cooked just right and tasted great. It was covered with a lemon flavored light sauce that contained capers and was delicious. It was served on a bed of angel hair pasta and with some vegetables. I dined with my wife, my brother, and his wife. We all agreed that the food was outstanding.

This is a small regional chain and we were in town over the holidays and dropped in for a meal. The menu offered most of the selections you would anticipate in a Italian establishment. The pizza was excellent, a half of the pepperoni and the other with veggies. One member of the party order a dinner salad with a double order of grilled shrimp. There are a number of beers on tap to select from and the service is above average. This is a good choice for Italian food and you canât go wrong with their pizza offerings. If you are sensitive to noise or have difficulty hearing this environment may provide you with a challenge as there are a lot of hard surfaces that reflect the ambient noise. The wait staff is excellent, friendly and attentive.
