ideale punto di partenza per una breve escursione sul monte legnoncino, alla visita delle trincee di guerra, il rifugio, raggiungibile in auto, si presenta molto ben curato e gestito da personale educato ma soprattutto premuroso nei confronti del cliente.dopo un veloce ristoro (ottimi i dolci), è possibile fermarsi al laghetto a prendere un pò di sole prima di rientrare verso casa.## il rifugio dista a circa 15/20km dalla SS36, e per raggiungerlo bisogna fare parecchie curve!!##

Me and my boyfriend have been in the restaurant and the food is great! The Chef is really nice and funny. He made some jokes with me and then he invited us to drink some of his self made Limoncello. It was a really pleasant stay. Thank you so much! I hope I will see you again for some more jokes and more of your awesome pizza!!

Excellent pizzas, good wines, beers, fabulous views. The fact that this place is full of locals, combined with a very busy take away service is proof enough of the quality of the food. Recommended to us by our hotel, we have to agree that this is one of the best pizzerias we have visited to date. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the size and quality offered. There are numerous fish specials every day and the fish coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled wonderful.Hopefully we will return one day to Lake Como and this will be on our list to visit again.

Nothing can beet this site, right at the lakefront. Tucked away from the busy street. The Pizza is yummy and we loved their mixed fried fish - both from the lake and from the sea. Beautiful location, good service, sensible prices, great value and - most importantly - excellent food! We both had pastas (gnocchi and ravioli), which we loved. You could tell they were handmade with care. You must also make room for dessert; the chocolate soufflé and chocolate/zucchini cake were delicious! Highly recommended restaurant.

Our family decided to celebrate the 80th birthday of my mother in law in a romantic place of Lake Como, a little and ancient location dominated by a Castle: Corenno Plinio.There, at the feet of the Castle, there is a little restaurant called "TAVERNA AL CASTELLO", where we decided to have lunch.We booked some days before because we were 11 hosts and we agreed with the very gentle ownwers a suitable menu to our expectations.We stayed in in the internal lounge, very confortable, and eat two very good entrees, risotto and tagliatelle with meat sauce, then two meats, wild boar and donkey, served with polenta and roasted potatoes. A good red wine was served, together with water. At the end we had also a dessert at our choice. Everything was very good, high quality and served with kindness. If you need a "touch and go" lunch, they propose also an economic menu fitted for tourists, very simple but good!

My friend Roberta told me: just order one dish... it's plenty! well, how can you? this is paradise, food heaven, absolute bliss. when you are starved in Australia, this is what you dream about. I had polenta with lardo, followed by ravioli al brasato and then followed by more polenta and wild boar... my partner had every possible vegetariann dish on the menu. to say that this experience will stay with us forever is not enough to do justice to this marvellous restaurant. it's a treasure and I hope it will not change forever. we look forward to the next time and for the time being, we just have to keep dreaming looking at the photos we have taken. Had a great dinner there, it was expensive but worth every eurocent, starting with complimentary appetizers through the main fish dishes and dessert. Great wine selection. Exceptional service, perfect (native?) English spoken. The location a bit off the main drag and across a street from the lake did not seem as good as more central restaurants but it turned out very quiet and cozy there. Recommended!
