We went for lunch and were a little bit early. No problem. We were seated immediately. The selections were varied and I believe sufficient enough to please anyone. We all had a lunch salad and the lasagna. The quantity and quality were both more than adequate.Iâd definitely go back again when Iâm in the neighborhood. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful and quite lovely.

Pros - service was prompt and friendly. Looked like a standard East Coast Italian joint plunked down in a small Southern town. What could go wrong?Cons - Calamari was fishy tasting and didn't have the real crunchy coating we have had in many big-city joints. The pre-requisite, free, bread was just sliced grocery store stuff, soaked in some oily topping, no garlic. Guys, you have a pizza oven, bake your own ciabatta, serve it with EVOO for dipping. Good bread isn't that hard to do. You cannot dip your own here because it comes already soaked in something.I had the tortillini with cream sauce. Good portion size but the sauce, pretty thin and drippy, was so salty I worried about my blood pressure. My companion had fettuccine with chicken and some veggies, also in a cream sauce. The chicken was tough and chewy, like some poor cut of steak. The cream sauce, though not as salty as the tortillini, was bland, no hint of nutmeg or other flavor. Finally, the table top was sticky. The place was fairly full, the pizza looked good, but the cream sauce dishes and the calamari won't get a second chance. We will try some dishes from the red side of the menu but I have my doubts. Will update after some more experience.

Enjoyed a meal recently at the casual tables inside this fast paced basically "to-go" restaurant. This is the real deal, people who are committed to quality, fresh made pizza doughs and sauces. A wide range to delicious looking mouth watering items like "Philly style" cheese steaks with all the trimmings. They have a relatively large delivery area... our pizza was delicious! Priced competitively.

Disappointed... After two previous visits left us unimpressed, we thought we'd try them again. Want a pizza and didn't want to leave town. Arrived shortly after 11 an opening. Hostess walked from kitchen and rather than coming over to greet and seat us, she put the menus down on a table... 5 tables away, no greeting. A/C wasn't turned down yet so it was a but warm in the dining area. Hostess/waitress not friendly at all. Ordered the meat lovers pizza... Comes with the meats and extra cheese. Pizza had good flavor but was not even close to regular cheese, let alone extra cheese as indicated on the menu, and did not have extra sauce as requested, fairly dry. The steak sub had several pieces of grizzle, not very appearing. This, our third and final visit... We will not be disappointed again. I expected more from a $14 small pizza. The lack of cheese on the pizza was only surpassed by their lack of customers... Lunch rush, customers at only two other tables... Should have been a clue. Three years ago it was very good... Not so much anymore. I expect to pay more and also expect to get what I paid for.
