Lovely people, great food, although do not expect a Michelinstar kind of treatment. Fantastic to go with the kids.

We had this restaurant recommended to us by friends. It's quite hard to find and quite small. We went for the taster menu (4 course). Before the meal we were given an appetiser and a lovely glass of prosecco. The appetiser was a delicious aubergine and courgette flower fritter. We also had home made bread. The co-owner then made an excellent wine recommendation (a Nebbiolo that he made)On to the food; I had the most enormous portion of carne cruda I've ever had.It was delicious, but easily the size of a large 1/4lb burger! My partner had a smaller but equally generous veal with hazelnut mayonnaise. My second course was a delicious herby peppery pasta with courgette and gamberetti (again huge), and then I had a pork and fig dish that was one of my favourite pork dishes of all time. My partners main was a wonderful lamb dish that seemed to somehow combine the flavours and textures of a rare lamb cutlet with a lamb stew. By the time it came to desert we were so full we could not order! I did have a delicious peach and eucalyptus sorbet (per desert palate cleanser) and then some incredible after desert sweets. We then had aged grappa (complimentary!)The food was brilliant. My message to the owners would be to make the portions 25% smaller (maybe 50% smaller for the antipasti) and it would have been perfect. I will be recommending this restaurant, but also perhaps recommending skipping lunch!! I regret not being able to try desert

We sat inside, and there was so much noise that we had to speak loud to hear one another. The burgers and the beers were good though

I live down the road from Perletto and have been to this super family restaurant about ten times and have never been disappointed. There is no menu so you get brought different dishes to eat, normally about ten courses! All served by a waitress at your table. On a Sunday this place is packed with well over 100 people eating a slow family lunch over a few hours. The food is traditional Piemontese so if you really want to explore a whole range of Piemontese dishes this is the place to come. In the summer book a table outside there aren't stunning views but it is a more intimate setting than indoors which is heaving. This is where all my local Italian friends go for special Sunday lunches for Birthdays and anniversaries and there are always at least two Happy Birthday songs sung with accompanying cake which I guess you order in advance! The wine list is excellent value and I haven't ever paid more than 60 euros max for 2 people - that is 10 course and wine! Outstanding value. You do need to book and I don't think they have a website so call +39 0173 832255 While in Perletto there is a fabulous winery nearby called Roccasanta which is also worth a pre or post lunch wine tasting visit they even make a Barolo there from a patch of land they own in Barolo.

Our agritourism is located in Rocchetta Belbo, in the middle of the Langhe area. Surrounded by vineyards sustained by ancient dry stone walls, alternated by woods, is our grandparents' farmstead, standing since more than two hundred years: its ancient wal
We were made to feel very welcome and the service was personal and efficient. Each course and wine was explained making it a wonderful experience for us Australians. We enjoyed the authenticity of the meal and the locally grown wines. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this for a lunch venue. What a pleasure to read your words!Hope to see you again really soon! Big hugs from Piemonte!

Typical and territorial food, bio veggie garden and a lot of hazelnuts.
if you stay at the castel martino it's part of your holiday treat. if you are travelling the region, don't miss it, it's a 15' steep uphilldrive from cortemilia. we also tasted the wellknown ristorante san carlo, but what the young chef and his team prepare for their guests is best in town. local taste, local products with creativity and love. beautiful wines, great setting.

This is a cute little cafe, gelateria, and bakery. We often stop for an ice cream and always but some of their hazelnut cookies.

You cannot be disappointed....in March 2015, our third visit to Ristorante Albergo 'l Bunet, lived up to everything we have come to expect from Emilio and his talented wife. The menu always reflects seasonal produce, much of it grown by Emilio in his garden, and turned into amazing mouthwatering offerings by Emilio's wife who knows exactly what to do to highlight each food's best quality. Each visit we are welcomed so warmly and thoroughly spoiled by the personalised service afforded us. Emilio has even opened solely for us, nothing is too much trouble whether you are a larger party or just the two of you. The varied wine list compliments the food and Emilio uses his extensive knowledge to help you select the perfect accompaniment to your meal. It's a long way to come for lunch from Australia but someone has to do it...and we are so pleased we can! Looking forward to the tastes of summer! Especially the cheese cart .....and other seasonal treats we know will have been carefully chosen.

Little did we know when we booked a two night stay at the hotel associated with this restaurant that we would be dining in an establishment of such high regard and excellent reputation that it has justly earned the great honor of being a destination for fine food lovers from far and wide. Every dish served was a delight and the service and setting perfectly complemented the culinary experience. We highly recommend the Ristorante San Carlo.

I got the impression that this restaurant has high ambitions and to serve really nice gourmet food. I do not think they meet this level. The best I had was the grilled meat, the rest was unfortunately a disappointment.
