Ireland's third-largest city began life as an island and now spans both banks of the River Lee, with watery channels running beneath some of its main thoroughfares. The best way to experience this hilly southern seaport is on foot, following the signposted walking tour past St. Finn Barre's Cathedral and the riverside quadrangle of University College up the hill to red and white Shandon Church. Along the way, you'll meet plenty of the city's talkative residents.

Visited with a group of friends last night; it's a small restaurant and was full. Was asked to wait while a table was cleared and then seated and provided with menus. As a group, we tried 2 different pizzas, the parmesan fries, halloumi special side, and arancini. Pizzas weren't exactly to my taste - quite doughy, sauce slightly watery and tasteless, and toppings sparse. The fries were delicious, as was the cajun dip we also ordered. Halloumi wasn't anything special, and I've had better arancini. Service was good, but I wouldn't be rushing to pay a return visit as the food wasn't really to my taste.

Came here for a birthday dinner with a couple of friends. The food was outstanding, the staff were extremely welcoming and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back! The most authentic Italian in Cork City!

A menu with the ultimate ingredients creating amazingly high quality food, large portions cooked fresh and just bloody good value for money! Itâs truly a phenomenon. Lending itself to the hand built and constructed burgers and pizzas, to the pasta, steaks
Came here with a group of friends. Staff were very welcoming and fun. However the food was poor. Pizza tasted like cardboard. Chips not cooked properly. Wonât be back for the food but the staff were lovely.

This restaurant is located inside the cork airport hotel, just next to the airport. If the Italian name suggests pizza to be a good choice, don't follow your instinct: it's awful.Furthermore, we waited 45' to be served (actually, to be asked for an order) as the kitchen was "very busy". Now, how can this be possible? They should know how many people are staying in the hotel and should be able to guess how many clients they will have. Obviously there is a certain degree of uncertainty and the very unlucky event of late flights postponed till the day after, but that was not the case. What I have to say is that the staff was remarkable in serving, running among the tables and always smiling.Hi Silvia, We're sorry to hear that this was your experience. Our pizza is a favorite among locals and we're sorry it did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We have passed on your feedback to the team and we are taking your comments on board to better improve the guest experience. Kindest regards, Cork Airport Hotel Team

I have been here a few times now and ordered something different each time - I loved every dish! My favorite has to be the penne al filetto, so good!! The pizzas are also delicious, nice crust and great flavour. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and lovely decor. Staff have been very friendly and helpful each time I visited. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are generous. My go to for Italian food when in town.

I discovered this place about 3 weeks ago with my boyfriend and I can't get enough. been back about 6 times since with friends! its casual, music that isn't too loud, very kind and welcoming staff and many amazing vegan options! first place I have been to in cork city where I have actually enjoyed their vegan menu. the pizzas and baguettes are so amazing. with all the food being â¬10 (even the vegan menu) and very big portions. I have no complaints at all about Uncle Petes excecpt for the lack of any vegan dessert options.

We serve Italian food that is traditional for alpine region of Northern Italy. Our food is authentic and simple but tastes great. We allow the fresh ingredients that we use to do the talking. All of our pasta is homemade and freshly prepared every day, as
On a 12 day tour of Ireland this was one of our most enjoyable meals. The spaghetti is home made and the Rotolo di pollo was moist and well textured. Over all the food, drinks, coffee and service were high standard. One of those restaurants you would go back to just to try the other items on the menu.

We had dinner there last night and what I can say?! Well...the quality of the food is ok, we had a starter and I must be honest: all products were from Italy for sure. We also had pizza margherita and tiramisu...here we got upset. First of all: no one italian use balsamic vinegar and rocket as toppings!!! Please!!! Tiramisu was weird, I dunno if it was the cream or the way how it was made. Italian restaurant with Irish revisiting!

We create authentic pizza from the finest quality ingredients, with a distinctive wood-fired flavour. Our pizzas have a unique thin base, made from a combination of the finest Italian type-00 and four we mill in-house from Irish-grown heritage grain. We r
I'm giving this a poor review , mainly because the server who was mixing the dough and doing the till at the same time with no gloves on.handling change & mixing dough at once is unhygienic in my opinion. It kinda put me off the pizza
