Rocca Massima is a small village, which, amazingly, is home to this fabulous world-class restaurant, perched on the edge of a cliff with a jaw-dropping view over a valley filled with olive trees and vineyards. The food was outstanding. The competent waitresses spoke English and gluten-free pasta was available. Highly recommended.

We dined under the grapevine pergola at this small restaurant in Cori. Da Checco is listed in the Slow Food Guide and hence our interest, although we did not have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed. Four of us shared antipasto, followed separate duo plates of homemade fresh pasta and gnocchi, served with two different grated cheeses, all excellent. Main was roast lamb, roast potatoes, mixed salad. We also had mineral water and a good bottle of Nero Buono di Cori, the local grape. The bill came to 92 Euro, and of special note was the perfect service provided by an extremely busy waitress called Chiara. After a very satifying lunch to aid our digestion we walked to Hercules Temple nearby, and also enjoyed the view of the olive trees and the Tyrrhenian coast.

Small little restaurant/pizzeria in Cori alta, 26 km from Latina. A must try is the local baked ham, a real treat. Their pastas are home made with or without eggs. Must try their Matriciana. The pig leg (stinco) was very good as well as their other meats. Desert good and a selected wine list with several local wines from the Cori area. Better if you make a reservation. Very enjoyable.

Been here twice, once with friends once with family; the food is great and the service is excellent. They have a good selection of wines, make their own bread and also their own chocolate (possibly one of the finest I ever had). So far everything I tried was good. Meat, pizza, starters, fish (first time with friends we ordered few different things to try. Second time I had a fish meal. All good) I will recommend it. Dear Cinnamon_Tulip, thank you very much for finding the time to leave your feedback. We are pleased to know that you have already become a regular guest which makes us extremely proud. We went on a day trip from Rome and it was well worth the time and effort. We stayed overnight in the winery's hotel. Both the hotel and restaurant were both beautifully restored, including the incorporation of old wine barrels into the design. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Ours included a terrace with a beautiful view of the hillside town of Cori. Dinner that night was at 8 in the restaurant downstairs. We each had the five course option which included a pairing of wine with each serving. The food was exceptionally good and beautifully plated. And the wines were all excellent, so much so that we purchased a case the next day to enjoy later back in Rome. All in all, an excellent find. The main challenge is getting there. It's only about an hour outside of Rome and we had a driver who had been there before. But Cori is pretty small and it didn't appear to have a train station. Nonetheless, if you can find it, you won't be sorry. I would return in a heartbeat.

Being there for a dinner with my family to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant offers in side or outside confortable place. Outside is a must during the summer. A concrete wood floor host you outside with tables placed around the perimeter of the square garden and table are protected by large umbrella for the sun or the humidity at the dinner. You can eat meat or fish plates all well prepared the cellar is provided with several good wine and we got bottles of 02 Wine produced by a local lazio cantina. I had fish served with julienne vegetables well presented and tasty.

Worth looking up if you are in the area, even worth having a day out here specially.Hidden down an alleyway in the historic centre, you will find this young dynamic team who deserve every encouragement.Try the "viaggio" mixed seafood antipasto, imaginative, fresh from the sea, truly a gastronomic journey. The bill was a bit high, but considering the quality and quantity we received, I wouldn't complain. You get what you pay for And that is the top. They also offered some dishes free.Well worth a detour, it's easy by train from Rome.
