Family style restaurant serving Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Catering, Cocktails and Gourmet Desserts. Celebrating 40 years in business Family owned and operated since 1978.
The staff here work in sync. They are very friendly, informed, warm and inviting, with a dash of humor. The pizza here is outstanding for traditional pizza. The sauce, crust and toppings were all very flavorful. Iâm looking forward to my next visit!Thank you so much for the kind wordsChristos/ co owner

So we came here to try out a restaurant that I have probably driven past at least 500 times by now and not even realized it was there. My bar for Italian food is fairly high as I have eaten in Italy and loved it, so I try to keep that in mind. The good- The owner is incredibly friendly and was a joy to speak with.- The martini's were awesome. The price on those is going to be the norm for any sit down restaurant in this area. The flavors though were top notch and mostly things I haven't encountered before. I had one that had fireball whisky and cranberry juice as it's core ingredients and it was shockingly good. My wife had two others and both were top notch. The not so good- Salt. The two main courses and appetizers were poorly salted if at all. This drives me insane, as it is such a simple ingredient and can elevate a dish significantly. It is more of shame as there are great flavors hinted at. I think proper salting could have turned all 3 bland dishes into something truly top notch. If the chef is against it for whatever reason, then at least put some salt shakers on the table.- The service was glacial in pace. I don't know if they were understaffed that day or what, but it wasn't busy and it still took us almost 2.5 hours to get our food and leave. I don't mind some time to relax and chat but that is just way too much time.We will come back later in the year and give another try. If nothing else, it is great for the drinks.

Was here for dinner with another couple. pleasantly greeted and sat in the nice dining area. Quickly got a basket of italian bread delivered to the table but had to pay $1.95 for plain dipping oil, no garlic, or any seasonings. I had the veal it was a large dried out piece over a small amount of tasy sauce. Pasta was fresh, hot & good. Sausage & mushrooms were bland. Apps of Mussells, antipasto were very good. The garlic gorganzolla dressing on the salad was awesome. Save room for the desserts, chocholate cake was to die for (very filling) carrot cake was equally as good. it is a bit pricey for what you get and it is BYOB

The food here is pretty meh. They are generous with the toppings but there just isn't much flavor in the pizza. I was quite disappointed. Honestly the take and bake pizzas from stop and shop are much better then this place and cheaper. That should say something about the quality here.

I am a frequent visitor to Papa Z's when I am in the area. While the "regular" food is good but not so inventive, I highly recommend the pastas and the specials. This is where the chef really shines. You can get quite good food, like steak and more in special dishes, for a great price. You can also substitute and add in items to any dish- the chef is very accommodating and can make things to your taste if you just ask. I also enjoy the waitstaff, especially Genia, who is extremely friendly and professional. The family atmosphere combined with the excellent specials keep me as a customer, along with the rest of my family.
