Un ottimo ristorante di pesce. Antipasti caldi molto buoni con varie portate. In particolare ho trovato eccezionale il polipo riscottato su letto di fagioli. Molto buono il riso ai gamberi e carciofi e poi la tagliata di tonno.

We came here for dinner on one day and back on a Tuesday lunchtime to experience the famous calamari. I don't know how much the dinner was as we didn't pay for it, but I can say that the traditional food we had was delicious. Here you'll find the typical polenta served as a starter with local sausage, or grilled radicchio and bacon, or several other savoury toppings, or as a side dish to goulash or duck main.As a first course we also had the hand made gnocchi with duck ragù, the home made ravioli with a purple potato filling and much more. Everything was great and we had a lovely evening. We went back there with other friends for lunchtime and we had two kids who they were very happy to cater for with a standard bolognese sauce with homemade gnocchi. We had a selection of food but mainly were there for the calamari, which were soft, light and perfectly fried.Absolutely delighted with them. They also do take away if you want, and it's always very busy on that day.All in all, we all had 3 courses, coffee, drinks and plenty alcohol, the bill came to about â¬20 each for 6 of us. I was very pleased so was my English boyfriend who liked the calamari very much. We'll definitely come back.

NIce atmosphere and nice waiters. Food was nice, specailly I really tuna tartare with creamy butter. The main dish was beef tagliata with potatoes. I I liked soft meat but i didn´t like potatoes very much. I choose tiramisu for desert and it was the best tiramisu in my life. The price for dinner was pretty much regular.

The food served is very local, and freshly made. Good for a quick lunch with average expectations. The quality of the food could be a bit improved.

Before going to the Tiepolo exhibit at the Villa Manin just around the corner, I brought my Italian wife, her parents, and two friends visiting us from California to this cozy osteria for lunch. While many of the tables had "Riservato" written on them, we just dropped in and the friendly and gregarious host quickly made room for our party. We were very glad that he did, since the food and wine were both exceptional, all at a reasonable price. Paired with a spectacularly mineral, local skin-contact Pinot Grigio from Specogna (from nearby Corno di Rosazzo), we tried a plate of local cold cuts and cheeses for appetizer, which disappeared quickly. Some of us had spaghettini with tomato confit, pancetta, and rucola, while the others enjoyed hand-made gnocchi with lamb ragu. Both were excellent. My wife never misses an opportunity to have quail, which was on the menu the day we visited. When they brought the plate away, only a dainty pile of tiny bones remained. Not even a crumb of polenta was left! My father in law enjoyed the local pignolo by the glass. While the food was great, it wasn't even the most memorable part of our visit. The host, who I gathered must also have been the owner, explained local sayings and customs to us, told us about his experience of working in San Francisco and nearby cities in the Bay Area, and even sketched us a map of how to get to an easy-to-overlook, ancient local home that was a great complement to our visit to the Villa Manin. Highly recommended.
