This chain restaurant delivers what its fans expectâample portions of Italian food in almost limitless combinations. The caloric count is high. Value for money is excellent. The dining room is pleasant. The food is tasty for the most part, but many dishes have a sort of chemical under-taste one only finds in factory prepared meals. Olive Garden says they donât use msg, so what is it? Wait staff are obviously under instructions to sell as much as possible. Drinks anyone?

I order from Jo-Lynn's at least once a week. The pizza is delicious, and the meatball calzone is my favorite, with the Italian hoagie right behind. Everything is delicious-- from the fried mushrooms to the gnocchi dinner, and everything in between. Friendly staff too.
Alittle bit of everything here. No dine in, take out or delivery. They bake their own rolls for the Hoagies. Some of our favorites, The Family Special, Pizza Hoagie, wings and Pop or Iced Tea. Fresh sliced Gyros and Gyro Pizza. Nice variety on their menue. Many special available. Another great place to get take out during the Meet Me on Plum St. Summer Concert Series June -aug on Thurs nights.
We loved the food and atmosphere here! It doesnât look like much from your first impression on the outside but please donât let that stop you. Reservations are recommended. Itâs a small, cozy place. If you are in a rush.... go somewhere else but I think the service was perfect for this type of place! They want you to stay and enjoy your meal and wine, not get it down ya then get out so ENJOY IT!! We sure did!

Tillie's is a Family Owned independent Italian Style Restaurant that has been serving Homemade Italian and American foods for over 55 Years. Pasta is Hand Made in house and is the Signature Food for most patrons. Our Homemade Spaghetti, Fettucini, Lasaga,
Place has been around since 1962. Nothing special on the inside, tables, booth and Sinatra playing, but the food is very good. Love the fish, pizza and all of the pastas. They are known for their ravioli, singular. For lunch you get one large ravioli, it is plenty, for dinner they serve you two. They huge and very satisfying stuffed with cheese or my personal favorite, Italian sausage. Worth a visit.

good food...nice atmosphere...reasonable price...but to exit the restaurant onto state route 51 toward Pittsburgh is impossible...a Jersey barrier does not allow you to travel north...there is no place to turn around...what a shame because this place is worth going to

Woodyâs is a long-established, traditional, unpretentious, Italian-American red sauce restaurant that is a local favorite. I can see why. Their homemade spaghetti with meatball is exactly to my taste. My carnivore companion was satisfied, too. Portions are large and service is friendly. Whatâs not to like?McKeesport has a deserved reputation for high crime and derelict buildings. Don't be afraid to come here. Woody's is not in a "no go" zone.

I visited twice - hands down - hats off, well prepared fine food - did you want the veal chop?...lobster ravioli?...veal cutlet w/crab(house specialty)?....start with the fried zucchini strips...then "real" minestrone soup, dessert = the spumone ice cream w/chunky fruit & clean-clear flavors.....maybe the best part is if you have to wait in the bar for a table...classic neighborhood bar feel...did you want a bottle of Italian Peroni beer?...or the local brews on tap? great fun watching the locals chat & chow down.ciao!
