A very welcoming family owned restaurant. Great selection of wines, excellent pasta and seafood. I can highly recommend it for a friendly night out with excellent food. Thanks Vincenzo and Guisy for your welcome. We have been 4 times now for either just a drink or for a meal. We will continue to enjoy it during our stay in Chianni.

We stayed here in April which may explain our feelings towards the accommodation. Firstly the location is beautiful with amazing views over the valley. Rivalto is pretty, but tiny and there was only a very small alimentari and the only restaurant in the village wasn't open. The swimming pool area is lovely although too cold for us to use at that time of the year.We had a 2 bedroom apartment and to be honest we were really disappointed with it as it didn't compare with what we'd expected from the website. One bedroom was up a very steep set of pigeon steps. It had skylights but no view. The second bedroom had a very high ceiling with a skylight covered by a blind. The blind could not be opened so there was no natural light which felt very oppressive. The shower room didn't have a window either. The living/dining/kitchen had one small window so only minimal light. I used to sit in an alcove above the stairs just to get natural light. The futon/sofa bed was the only place to relax but it was very uncomfortable. We also found the apartment cold and the heating was insufficient to heat the large spaces. We had expected a balcony but the only outdoor space we had was shared with the outdoor bar which was in the process of being renovated. I accept that a medieval Borgo wasn't built with comfort in mind, but for the price we paid I expected more. The dining room was in the cellar and was nicely decorated with a lovely vaulted ceiling, but again, no natural light. We were the only diners and had very limited choice. The staff were friendly and helpful, but that couldn't make up for the obvious negative aspects of the property. For me the joy of Tuscany is all about the light and the views and sadly this particular apartment offered us neither. I'm sure there are some lovely rooms, but ours wasn't one.

A very nice restaurant with excellent food and service. Price level is good and so is the quality of the food. We had dinner for 19 persons. Everybody very pleased. The local wine included in the menu was good!A place I would like to visit also in the future.

Great menu, good service and lovely setting. Shame not more choice of food and shame they weren't busier.Seafood pasta was heaving with seafood, steak cooked to perfection and cheesecake to die for. Back from "Sagra del Cinghiale" in Chianni, where there was no place, we stepped here (honestly, some friends of mine just suggested...) and got the last table available.Well pappardelle and cinghiale deserved half an hour of waiting. Everything was good.We'll be back in summer, to enjoy the panorama.

While staying in very beautiful Chianni, we had dinner here. For all four adults, it was one of our best meals ever. The dining room is a lovely setting, and the food makes it perfect. We cannot wait to return.

We enjoyed a beautiful lunch delivered to our Bocelli Luxury apartment along with enjoying a wonderful dinner at the Bistro itself. Gabriele and his mom were splended hosts and treated us like we were part of the family. Their food was delicious. The meat platter prepared for us was divine. The raviolis with a new sauce were divine. The conversation and love shared with us was beyond lovely. We can't wait to visit here again with our new friends.

The food and service were exceptional due to local ingredients cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding with every dish fully explained. We had a wonderful wine suggested to us and it was the right choice. The views are stunning and the restaurant very comfortable. What a glorious experience for my birthday and honeymoon celebration. The past was fresh and had so many choices in preparation. The beef main course was full of flavour. We loved it. Thank you so much

Dovendo recarci nelle vicinanze, abbiamo scoperto per caso questo ristorante dove siamo stati a pranzo in una bella giornata di sole. La location è molto bella, gode di una vista magnifica a 360^ sulle colline toscane. Essendo ancora caldo, abbiamo pranzato allâaperto godendo del panorama. Allestimento semplice ma curato, personale gentile e molto attento alle richieste, abbiamo apprezzato lâattenzione al cliente dimostrata nel corso del pranzo dalla proprietà e dalla chef, che si è venuta a presentare al termine chiedendoci sensazioni e commenti.Quanto alle pietanze, si connotano per il sapiente utilizzo della materia prima locale. Ottimi i primi, eccezionale lo stracotto, molto buoni anche i dolci. Carta dei vini sufficientemente ampia e diversificata, comprendendo anche vini non solo del territorio. Ottimo il rapporto qualità /prezzo.Nel complesso un posto raccomandabile per location e qualità del cibo in rapporto alla tipologia di ristorante.
