The pizza was £10, but the waiter added £5 to the menu for a glass of sparkling water. The other one-star reviewers were right about this place. Avoid.I find it very hard to believe that this restaurant is "#102 of 2,238 Restaurants in Copenhagen". It's in the middle of nowhere - in a modern residential block with nothing around it - and the pizza was one of the worst I've ever eaten; it was on par with something from a supermarket freezer. Really.Dear sr sorry for what happened, we disagree with what you says because the pizzas do home make. The price of sparkling water you could see in the menu, is the normal price in Denmark. We hope you find a better place the next time you come to Denmark. Best regards Restaurant Tio Mario

We booked ahead as we were a group of people. The service was a little slow and we seem to be served last even although we were first in the restaurant. At this point there was about 3-4 tables with 2-4 people at each table. The starter, prawns and calamari was lovely as was the house rose. We had to ask for one of our group's main to be brought to the table as she had an earlier flight, we had waited about 30 mins at this point. The main courses eventually arrive, mine was linguine with lobster, unfortunately it was tasteless. the senior man did apologise and offer an alternative dish and did take the main dish and side salad off the the bill. He did also provide a bottle of Prosecco as a good will gesture which was lovely. The issue seemed to be that a very large group had been booked about 1 hour after we arrived and I think the restaurant was overwhelmed with the numbers - a shame as it gets normally very good reviewsDear Surrey13,We are all sincerely humbled by your constructive review with regards to your previous visit with us. It certainly serves as a motivation for our team members and to improve and to strive in providing the utmost level of services to our guests. Again, thank you and we hope to have the opportunity to welcoming you again soon at Trattoria SUD. Yours sincerely,Andrea Cassini
This has been my pizza place since they opened. Real thin crust tasty italian pizzas. Even when I did not have a car I would take the bus to get my pizza fix

Homemade Italian food with delicacies from Parma and Emilia Romagna. Famous for Parmigiano Reggiano (the one and only Parmesan cheese) and Prosciutto di Parma (Parma ham). Parma is now ambassador of the Food Valley worldwide: the city has been declared th
I can't really compare with other Italian restaurants as my experience is quite limited, but based on my one visit so far I was very happy with the pasta dish I ordered. The dishes are made as per original recipe, e.g. the bolognese is not made with tomato as we are used to here, however this is how it has been done for centuries in Bologna. The pasta is fresh and the portions are generous. I came mid-afternoon at the weekend, where the place was packed and was worried that I would have to spend hours to get served. That was not the case, although it looked a bit messy behind the bar the staff were efficient and friendly, and I heard many customers thanking the chefs for their excellent food. Will definitely be coming back.

Mastro produce fresh pasta and ravioli made on organic, Italian semola. All the food is freshly made or prepared here - such as carpaccio, grilled octopus, seasonal salads and vegetables - plus a fish and a meat dish of the day. As much as possible are ma
Mastro serves authentic Italian food of high quality in a very informal room. But there is room for improvement.First of all I find most prices just too high â even taking into account the quality. A pasta and a secondi will set you back more than 400 kr. I paid 165 just for the pasta. And a glass of wine, not impressive big, 80-110 kr. Even by Danish standards itâs a lot. Though my sangiovese was good. This time (my 4th or so visit) I wasnât impressed by the service either - as kind as it was. 20-25 minutes it took to bring in the ravioli. And no one asked me if I wanted another glass of wine.Tiramisu was nice, though somewhat small. And - as it's often the case also in Italy - it had too little coffee and Marsala. But maybe it is just me...

After visiting the Experimentarium discovered this pizza place a few minutes walk away. Few indoor seats and offers takeaway which seems popular. Service was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Great pizza and pasta dishes. Pizza was 75dk so great value. Can recommend for good value for money.

We probably booked the last available table. The set menu was well prepared & the chef happily accommodated a deviation for one person in the party. The staff were fun and friendly with the owner chatting happily to his guests. The lemon sorbet was exceptional. They have a great red wine selection.

Tavola Calda means "warm table" in Italian - a nice eatery with wonderful, rustic food in a familiar atmosphere only 10 minutes from Nørreport. Here we serve well authentic italian. The menu varies everyday, and we always use fresh ingredients, imported f
Well, this was an experience I used to work as a waitress and lets face it, we all need to sample the wine to make sure we know what we serve!BUT.....sampling in front of the guests and doing it so blatantly AND then making us seasick from their swaying around between the tables? Not that great!! The food was decent, although one course was basically deep fried veggies....not sure about that. But cheers - hope they got a better buzz than us Hi Natanya, thank you for your visit at Tavola Calda. Usually, we donât reply to reviews, but in this particular case we feel the need to. At Tavola Calda we are passionate about the wine and food that we serve. We would never want for a guest to drink a wine that is either cork or damaged in any other way. Thus, we taste small sips of each single wine that we open, hereby weâre doing our job as servers. This is a really important key point for us, and I do not want to excuse ourselves for doing our job and for actually caring about what we serve and caring for our customers. By us tasting the wine, each customer should see our genuine interest in them having a great experience at Tavola Calda. We don't want to hide anything. We expect that our guests knows and trust that we know what we are doing. This is not only customarily for proper Italian restaurants but for all kinds. Tasting small sips of wine during service (and being used to this) does NOT make an experienced waiter drunk. During the night that you were here, there was nothing being dropped, bumped into and no sailing around. At Tavola Calda, we waiters are not just part of some big machine, we care about what we do and the people we serve. Therefore we bring our personalities into the serving. We are people with feelings and opinions. We laugh, talk and have a good time with our guests. A waiter laughing and smiling does not equal a drunk waiter. Not only did you film and take photos of us without our permission or our knowing, you also post this online. It is so out of line and not only is it illegal - it is also wildly inappropriate and objectifying. We had pretty much a full house this particular night - none of the other tables had the experience that we were drunk or even close to being. So please, to future customers - understand that yes we taste the wine while working, with the best interests for our guests in mind, and because we care. We never had and never will be drunk while working. With regards, Davide (chef and owner) and Mathilde (restaurant manager, and the waiter that you've been filming and photographed without my knowing or permission).

This is essentially a take-away restaurant. It is a small place with only two tables outside. The pizza cooked by two Italians is excellent (Vegetariana, for example, is great!). 38 different pizzas to choose. They also have pasta âal fornoâ (lasagne, cannelloni, tortellini, etc), sandwiches and salads. Prices are correct (pizza from 54 to 70 DKK). If you order there the waiting time for a pizza is around 8â. Highly recommended.

During a family visit in Copenhagen we were invited to this Italian restaurant. Nice and clean interior, polite service and interesting meny with many Italian classics but in smaller lighter versions. Interesting offer of the bredbasket, especially nice was the one made with parmesan. In general dishes was well made, well seasoned but could have been served at bit warmer. Interesting wine offering albeit a bit on the expensive side but I am aware this is Copenhagen. All in all a pleasant and enjoyable evening
