We have a motorhome and one of our stopovers was Rennes, not the most attractive place, however I wanted to see the river but no one told me it ran under the city and when we finally found it it was horrible and brown! But we did find this fine pizzeria with the most friendly people ever, we took our dog in and she was welcomed just like the Brits don't do! Food good, price French but it didn't matter and I would go back again

Small restaurant with great pizza and reasonably priced wine. Not a huge menu but well worth a visit if you want an unfussy quick tasty meal served by nice staff. My only criticism is the toilet area could do with a bit of a clear up but otherwise faultless.

This is a wonderful place to stop for a leisurely lunch after a busy morning shopping. The quality and choice of food is superb. It is a buffet style menu. The owners are very friendly and attentive without being in your face. It is possible to eat outside on lovely sunny days like today. We can't to go again.

thus ancient forge located very close to rennes in Brittany has been transformed , as it by magic, into a charming regional restaurant . the créative cuisine draws on all the ingredients of the region , from both land ocean , and serves them in moderne su
It was comfortable, clean and pretty. The chef suggested a meal, which we both got. I started with rouget, a Mediterranean fish, beautifully served. Our main course, which both of us got, was served as a slice of ballotin, chicken rolled and roasted with potatoes, served with some vegetables. It was an excellent meal, just a tad pricy though. Iâd like to have another meal here but would choose from the menu (carte) myself.

Came in not expecting much from this place as it is in a remote shopping centre in Cesson. But everything we ordered was delicious, including a very affordable kids menu. The kids meal finished with a lovely ice cream cup topped with a few sweets to further our daughter's happiness after the simple and amazing pizza she got. Our food was great from starter to desserts, so top marks!

Uninspiring decor but welcome is professional and pizze are quite OK with rich toppings and a specialty of black crust which is a change. Wines are a little disappointing though.

Had one of their menus each and while the starters weren't all to my taste, the grilled mains were great and the desserts were spectacular! Plus you get to choose two 'tapas' deserts which is great. Also, the kids menu was delicious - the pasta our daughter got was one of the best I've ever tried! And for once I didn't mind if she didn't eat much but she finished the whole plate!

We discovered this Italian restaurant steps away from our hotel (close to the train station). When our server asked if we wanted an English or French menu I said English for my husband but French for me as I wanted to practice. The server made a point of telling me how wonderful it was that I wanted to use my French. Nice! We were treated with complimentary appies with our drinks: little pesto toasts with tuna paté and diced tomato on top. Delicious. My husband had the linguini gorgonzola with Chorizo (the daily special) and I had the salmon lasagna. Wonderful!! It was served with a fresh salad of greens and lox, and a light dressing with a hint of anchovies and lemon. We shared the feature dessert: tiramisu with caramel. Heavenly.

Had the chance to stop there twice for lunch and dinner and it's really up to the taste and service! Bravo! Easy parking, choice of seating, pretty efficient service and great servings⦠Pizzas are cook in the wood-fired oven and very good. For dessert don't worry we are in Brittany and the 'cêrpes' is a perfect choice!
