Stumbled across this by accident. Sat inside having failed to get a sought-after outside seat!Wonderful Sicilian food, occasionally (and subtly) with a modern twist. Brilliant pork involtini, likewise the swordfish version. beef/veal fillet. Pasta dishes very good too. Lovely side dish of chard. Faultless cooking and a real delight in a city with so many lovely restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Considerate of allergy issues. Remember to ask for the "proper" wine list (as there is only a limited selection, of basic house wines, on the main menu. The bottles are on display inside.

This restaurant is characterized by an a-typical contemporary Sicilian cuisine. However, it' is enriched by Northern European influences, which have been acquired by our chef during his various experiences abroad. Using fresh ingredients and in- season pr
If you want to have delicious food - visit this place!!! Elegant and simple, located in the center of the old city, but aside of the noise, friendly team. The price is high, but it deserves every single coin. We enjoyed: homemade pasta with urchins sous, fantastic octopus starter, red fish stake - highly recommended!

We were staying just down the road from this restaurant. We visited twice and we're not disappointed with the food. Seafood Pasta, Glazed Pork Rib, Rack of Lamb, all tasty and well presented. Wine list was expensive so we had water. Worth a visit

We had a nice meal and setting was good. Food was fine but nothing amazing. Service was quite slow but we weren't in a rush so that was ok. Asked for the wine list and was told the wine list was the shelf, obviously with no prices! We were sort of pushed into ordering a bottle of water but when the bill came the cost for the water was 22 Euros! The waiter (possibly owner) made out that he had pressed too many zeros but the costs were quite clearly programmed into the computer so felt like we were charged the 'tourist' cost for water! It was reduced to 2 Euros but left a bitter taste! We are Sorry you felt conned,The wine cost was Just inserted on the bill like It was water, so that on your bill there was no traces of wine.I guess in case we would have forgotten to charge on your bill the wine we should have felt like conned. We Just would like ti remark that asking ti guest about water It Is a basic part of the service, such as asking at the end for desserts. We feel very Sorry that in 2019 we have still ti listen to the classic " tourist" matter.......

Innovation and tradition, exaltation of local flavors and external contamination, use of the highest quality raw materials in the heart of the historic center of Cefalù, just few steps from the Duomo.
I went at Cortile Pepe with my family for my mumâs birthday. The restaurant is nice as decoration and ambiance. We were disappointed about the portions of the overpriced meals (the portion in a 2 star michelin are biggest!).The restaurant would like to play in a range level of restaurants that is not the case for the followings:1. The boss gave us the menus and the came to take the order once our all menus were not yet closed.2. Once I asked what was the plate âpescato del giornoâ that means âcatch of the dayâ : the boss replayed me as is âjust one type of fish âThe Amberjack â, is served, no expect to serve a big plate of a lot of fishes like other places, the fish is accurately prepared here...â3. Once the boss came with the bottle of wine, he just remarked that the glasses were not on the table yet..4. The toilets manâs door was impossible to close it.The plates were well dressed but really poor content in all of them, the overall taste was nice.

A really wonderful trattoria, just as one would wish. The son of the family provides service, the mama cooks. My wife had delicious swordfish involtini, and I had lamb chops, both dishes excellent. A happy place.

After reading all of the excellent reviews for this place (and because Le Brace was fully booked) we decided to go here. From looking at the pictures on here and reviews, we thought it was going to be special, it wasn't. We went on a Thursday and we made a reservation. We arrived and were told we could choose from about 8 tables. We asked about the terrace and they said it was closed on weekdays. Great! I don't understand why sitting people on the terrace with the lovely views (that I didn't get to see) is such an issue on weekdays. We were therefore seated in the courtyard. We were brought a free glass of prosecco and some arancini. I am not a big fish lover so I ordered from the main menu instead of the tasting menu. My first course was pasta with mushrooms and bacon and it was really bland. I have eaten in Michelin Star restaurants and I have also eaten in many chains like Zizzi's and I honestly think the starters in Zizzi's are better (and they aren't great!). The main was much better, we had the lamb chops and they were cooked very well. We decided not to have a dessert. We were self catering so this was a treat for us and I wish we had gone somewhere else.

We went here because it was high on the TripAdvisor list, which was pushed by the restaurant. I had oriata, a grilled sea bass. It was grilled nicely and presented whole, along with a grilled eggplant and tomatoes. A potato puree came along for the ride. The fish came easily off the bone and was very flavorful. The grill taste was stronger than the fish taste. Sher had swordfish and eggplant over a homemade pasta. She liked hers (and I did, too.) The bread could have been a little fresher. A nice nero dâAvola with the dishes kept the Sicilian flavor. The complaints are small, but having so many good meals in Sicily has made us pickier. Service was excellent, with smiles and knowledge all around. An after dinner amaro completed the evening

We had lunch here for our 10 year anniversary. The staff congratulated us on arrival and also brought us a free glass of Prosecco! This really made us feel special and marked the occasion perfectly. The dishes were explained eloquently and the food most delicious. A welcome change to the usual menu choices with a level of presentation, creativity and quality not expected at this price point. Great service, great food, great price!

We followed the road signs up the hills and were very pleasantly surprised with our finding at the end. Still in semi beach wear but never the less received a warm welcome. The antipasti was delicious as a starter and all our dishes and desserts were good. I recommend the house white wine too. The pool and rooms looked very inviting but alas we only popped in for lunch.
