The place is cozy and the food is well prepared and beautiful in its presentation. If you are in a hotel in the city, ask the reception if they can give you a discount card for this restaurant. But attention: you have to present the card at the moment you ask for the check.

Modern hut that offers a range of dining options. Perfect for a cappuccino mid-morning or for the traditional long ski lunch from 1pm. Midway down the run from the top of Cima Paganella and at the bottom of piste 'Nuvola Rossa'. Beautiful dining room with professional table service and a stunning selection of dishes from pastas to dumplings & gnochi. Excellent tiramisu and a rather pleasant pint of Forst Pils to wash it all down with. There's even a lift downstairs to the loo. Ottimo!

Ristorante-pizzeria tipico alpino di recente ristrutturazione. Offriamo pizze cotte in forno a legna e piatti tipici della tradizione trentina. Possibilità di accogliere gruppi in saletta-stube nel piano interrato.
After eating here twice, I would list this as my number one restaurant in the area. On both occasions there were lots of local enjoying the family oriented atmosphere. The service was quick and very friendly. The food was prepared and served in a very appeasing way. Whether it as pizza and a beer or a more upscale selection, everything was right on target.

I loved everything about this place - we were welcomed warmly. They were unsurprised and incredibly willing to go off menu to accommodate a child's simpler tastes (and even his food was fabulous). The stranglopreti were the best I've ever had - phenomenal. Everything made in house - the room was much nicer that many of the malgas in the region - rustic-modern. Desserts/service great and they served this mysterious iced wine liquor made in house that was also great. Would go there again.

A cute wooden hut, tucked away in the woods. Perfect for a short snack and a hot cup of coffee/tea whilst trekking. Very nice stove and abundance warmth.

The food was great and the staff where very nice. I am picky when it come to my food and service so coming from me it must mean something. The dishes are quite large and the prices are normal prices. I tried about 10 restaurants in the area and this is by far a 9+ the next best being a 7+ and the rest 6+. So definitely worth trying. If you are allergic / intolerant to any types of food the staff will help chose and accommodate you as much as possible. I definitely recommend that you try their local white wine it is cheap but excellent. I have both bottles of wine costing 5 times more and they were not as good. The only problem is that it was not cold about 16 Celsius. I did however try another local white wine in another restaurant and it was full of sulphates! so try this one and ask for it in other restaurants. We tried 6 different dishes all of which were excellent. I will be uploading some photos when I find time. Cold cuts of Game is a definite must have!

My parents were born in this small town and apparently, this is "the place to go" for the authentic experience. The tortel di patate is a local specialty that is in essence a large potato pancake (savory, not sweet) served with local cold cuts and cheeses. I have eaten here and the food is like my grandmother makes, really, really good. Highly recommended.Enjoy!

We were in Andalo and chose to dine here Al Penny because my daughter is coeliac, so gluten free meals are necessary. The place has a classic Tyrol look, very comfortable and pretty. The staff were friendly and the food good, with a gluten free menu too. There is a small Kindergarten area with toys, inside the restaurant, where kids can play. I would return there again if ever in this area in the future.
