We where out biking and ended up in Treporti a very charming small city, and was looking for something to drink, and saw this nice located restaurant, and decided to eat our dinner as well. What we definitely didn't regret, the food was really good and tasty. The only small point I don't like is that they serve bread and charge you 5 euro..... But all in all worth a visit. When we where there on a Tuesday they were full booked half an hour after they started to serve food at 19:00.... So come early or book ahead. Hello traveler from tripadvisor. Thanks for your comment. With regard to the cost for the service I have to tell you that the prizzo is written on the menu, and that Italy is the norm in restaurants. For the rest I'm glad you enjoyed it. In this period, the local is often full, true testimony that we work well, always serving customers. Thank you

Lovely setting in the garden, food was delicious, though the house wine wasn't great. Friendly staff and would be great of you could get back into the campsite via the dog owners entrance to avoid the walk down the main road. Would have got five if they did a bit more to protect against the mozzies.

This place has a great selection of tasty affordable food. A nice open kitchen. Very friendly staff. A ball pit for the kids. Had a great night out and stopped at the Gelateria opposite on the way back to camping Ca'savio. Both places had queues which is always a good sign.

We are staying nearby and decided to visit La Lanterna for dinner based on TA reviews and pictures but we left disappointed.First off, the English menu is a mixed mess between German and English which gives a very touristy vibe and the prices are different from the German menu for some dishes. We had bruchetta (shared a dish) which was the highlight of the meal. Good bread, tasty mature tomatoes and perfectly seasoned to our taste. My husband ordered a cheese burger which turned out to be something I would never expect served in a restaurant. The meat was surely frozen and not fresh and the bun was of some industrial make. When I order a burger in a restaurant I certainly expect the meat to be fresh and the bun to be homemade or from a bakery. The chips were dry and tasteless.I ordered the gnocci bolognese. As a pleasant surprise the bolognese was a ragu, however, it was bland and needed seasoning in my opinion. Also, I had to ask for parmesan which was then just collected from the next table (and returned to them 3 mins later when I had dosed half of my pasta). All in all rather disappointing as we paid 44 EUR (incl a draft beef and a bottle of water). I do have to say that the pizzas looked really good so we may try that for lunch one of the coming days.

I visited here with my wife and daughter, we all enjoyed the food, the service was good and the prices were very reasonable. It was a bit of a walk from our campsite but we hired bikes for 3 days and went here one evening. Would recommend it and if we were at one of the campsites closer to it would have gone more than once.

Great food, charming decor, friendly personel. We had the 1/2 pizza and some from the kids' menu. Everything was delicious and came quickly. Lots of Italian guests which is always a good sign. The owner came and welcomed us and explained the menu. If you get the chance, you should definitely go there (make reservations if you go after 19.30!)

The local Venetian culinary tradition, find in this restaurant one of its highest expression. The restaurant offer a not too wide but definitely excellent choice of several courses, mainly fish based, all prepared with the finest ingredients that are assemblied on the dishes with great attention. The premises are elegant and relaxing, both inside than outside, and the table service is absolutely wonderful.A positive note the choice of installing a camera in the kitchen so that the customers can see in real time the preparation of their own orders.Main courses portions are correct and the Sweets are more than ok; coffee is sublime. As a single recommended action, it's time to enlarge the wine chart with more important wine, such an excellent culinary experience deserve the opportunity to be united with top wines.Reservation it's highly recommended.Price it's absolutely in line with the level of the restaurant.

Good food here, worth booking for that alone. But the staff are just a little too crisp for our liking. The senior, maitre dâ one imagines, was charming enough but some of the junior staff were rather abrupt which rather took the edge off an otherwise excellent experience.

I have never written a negative review before, but our visit to this restaurant yesterday warrants the occasion. The food *looked* good, but we wanted to confirm that the crab was real and *just* crab, not filler. The shopkeeper assured us of this, so we ordered a few things: skewered shrimp, fried crab claws, and mixed seafood. If this was real seafood, it was the grossest experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The âcrab clawsâ were a spongy mix of deep fried dough with a crab claw sticking out of it. The shrimp was perplexing: no texture or anatomy of a real shrimp, but instead the same spongy dough substance shaped to resemble shrimp. The mixed seafood did have some real seafood in it, but I am 99% sure that the crab was imitation. This was a truly bad experience that I will not easily forget.
