Ostende is a really nice little area and this restaurant is one o the few you can get a full meal rather than just pinchos. The food is excellent but very expensive for what it is. I'd definitely suggest sharing dishes to keep the price down.

Pizzeria Lo de Urciuoli keeps the secret of true homemade pizza. Secret that has traveled with Jorge... This secret that is born in Italy, takes to Uruguay and now we can enjoy in Spain.

We had visited Castro Urdiales thoroughly. It was 7 P.M. as we entered Restaurante Pérgola. The waitress told us that the kitchen was closed until 8:30 P.M. We had looked left and right for a restaurant, but this was the only one with vegetarian options. We decided to explore the town even more and came back at 8:30 P.M. We were hungry by that time. We each had a salad, which was delicious. My wife ordered a rice dish and I ordered spaghetti with mushrooms. My wife wasnât able to finish her dish. I ate my spaghetti with mushrooms, it was good. At least it did fill our stomachs, which I was thankful for. The service was slow, even though the only customers were another table and ourselves. When we left we took a long walk around the harbor. And enjoyed the fresh air.
