Reassured by the reviews of others, we went there for lunch. Unfortunately, we found the visit a disappointing experience not to be repeated. It all started very well with the waiter explaining the dishes in detail and recommending a choice of wines. When the first courses arrived, the food turned out to be pretty average and not what we expected after the glowing descriptions. In addition, the home-cured salmon turned out to be very salty. The second courses didn't do much better: the scallops were overcooked and rubbery, and the steak somewhat grissly. The potatoes to go with the salmon arrived five minutes before the fish which was cold and raw in the middle when it was served at last. After our complaint it was taken back to the kitchen to reappear ten minutes later on a different plate by which time the potatoes were completely cold. At least the fish was cooked properly now. The only thing we got was an apology that this didn't happen very often. In a restaurant that claims to be top class and charges these kinds of prices this should have been handled differently. At least the wine was good.All in all, this was an experience not to be repeated. We have eaten much better and cheaper in a lot of other restaurants.

Tucked away in the village of Castel d'Ario between the cities of Verona and Mantua we found this take away Pizzeria. It is hard to describe the taste of both passion for food and quality of produce that go into these pizzas but one bite will make you understand why this is one of Italy's most (badly) copied products. Genuine and tasty food prepared by Damiano and Serena, the dedicated owners. One bite...and you'll be hooked forever.

Trasferta lavorativa in provincia di Verona. Una calda serata di inizio estate! Il tutto contornato da una cena eccezionale alla Trattoria alla Pesa! Conduzione familiare: fratello e sorella davvero super e papà super Chef â!!! Una cantina da invidia!!! Una materia prima (pesce) super eccezionale. E ovviamente un ambiente accogliente e raffinato. Che voi siate di passaggio o del posto dovete assolutamente pranzare o cenare in questo meraviglioso posticino! Gmam gmam a tutti belli e brutti!

You cant go to this place if you are not going to try their fantastic steaks, fiorentine and mixed grilled meats... The place is kinda particular and you need to see it. The food is good and its not too expensive! They have also a good selection of wine!

Was taken here by smeg reps, food was pre ordered but said to be the traditional way of food of this area. Rice with shrimps, rice with sausage & spare ribs, assorted cheeses complimented with apple sauce in mustard...and wine...amazing, big well done for choice of place, but a bigger well done to the chef...magnificent!!!

Its a lovely place where all the family members partake in running the trattoria. This gives a confident feeling and assurance of the best quality food (made by grandmother) and delicious desserts (made by the mother of the family), friendly and caring service, exceptional wine list and ambiance!

Went on the recommendation of a local Agriturismo and so glad we did. Plenty of choice on the menu, the tagliata with truffles was absolutely superb. The house wine was a lightly sparkly red, delicious!

It was extremely affordable, and the food was delicious. We spent 37 euros for salad, pasta, wine, dessert and coffee for two! Great atmosphere as well. Would definitely recommend!!

Dopo tantissimi anni ritorno in un locale che riporta il nome di una storica trattoria della zona. La mente mi riporta in quella atmosfera fantastica che purtroppo al giorno dâoggi è impossibile ricreare per i motivi che tutti noi conosciamo ( burocrazia hccp ecc ecc) . La qualità delle materie prime e della maestria dei cuochi però rimane inalterata, cioè al top. Personale giovane e professionale si attende al giusto le portate. Oltre ai risotti una menzione speciale spetta alle tagliatelle con l anitra, eccezionali e la frittata con i saltarelli spettacolare
