Betsy's was created when Slot World was bought out by a local casino management company. It replaced the other un-noteworthy cafe that was here, with a cheery atmosphere and an outside entrance. Not much else changed. Food is average; service plus-minus (depends on the time of day and day of the week.) OK if you're playing the slots and hungry.

We had this wonderful waitress named Sabrina. She as incredibly nice and helpful. My God it's a lot of food.Chicken parmigiana is like 3 meals. Wine wasn't bad for the price. Linguine pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked. Really, it's all so delicious. I'm certainly coming back. It's worth driving to Carson from Reno. Super satisfied.
Ordered a 12" "Vino's Favorite" delivered to the Hampton Inn (across the street) for $24 . Order: regular, thick crust - sans mushrooms. Sadly, the pizza we received 45 minutes later was not outstanding. Crust was thin, toppings were a bit sparse - as was the flavor. We were thrilled to have a pizza delivered to a hotel room (we had a huge U-haul trailer attached to our truck and were bone tired). But cannot say that pizza was worth the $24 price (plus the $5 tip we gave the driver).

The interior of this restaurant is very pretty inside and has a nice dining atmosphere. That's where it ended for us. We ordered the garlic cheese bread (the least expensive) and Caesar salads to start. The bread was very good, but a little pricey. The salads were ok, My husband ordered a ravioli with a garlic-artichoke cream sauce. He ordered spicy sausage with that entre'. I ordered the radiatore napoletano. There was some sort of error in getting our order in and after the appetizers, nothing came out. But, the waitress explained the problem, which was nice, and offered free bread or more salad. We took the "free" bread which was actually the bread everyone who gets an entre' gets, including us. Our order obviously wasn't put to the front as it took another fair wait to get it. The ravioli order was very skimpy - 4 ravioli with a little sauce and sausage. My husband said the meal was ok but nothing special. My pasta was a nice size order, but the marinara tasted like store-bought - in fact, I've had better from the grocery store. These entres weren't cheap and just weren't a good value in taste. But read on - it gets better. Two days after eating there, our CC company notifies us of a 30% tip on our Khristopher's bill and did we mean to leave that much? No, we know we left 15%. Just make sure what you leave for a tip and check your CC bill to see if you "accidently" left more. Too many good choices in the valley to come back for the food and the credit card thing didn't leave a very good taste in our mouth either.

Casino reeks of cigarette smoke. Food was good, waiter was excellent, kitchen slow. Seating hostess kept us standing at the front of a line of cigarette smokers for 15 minutes while she rearranged and set up tables in a restaurant that was 70% empty at 5 p.m. We will never go back there.

It's a new restaurant
I will start with a good note. The server and visible staff were very nice and courteous. That being said the food was sub par for the price. In addition the on-duty manager thought it was more prudent to spend her time chatting with the three hostesses at the desk. When the OG came to my town 30 years ago it was a great deal for the dollar. Nowadays the breadsticks are no longer light and fluffy with that heavy garlic taste, the salad really hadn't changed much, but both our pasta dishes tasted more like it was reheated or microwaved instead of made fresh.

I love this place! Best local pizza place in town! The customer service is incredible. Brandon is on it. Always making sure you are satisfied. The beer buddy garlic bread is my favorite appetizer and the Hawaiian pizza phenomenal. Highly recommend to check this place out. Great for lunch too the salads are just as amazing.

One of several new restaurants to open in Carson City this year, Mangia Tutto replaces a wine bar that went defunct years ago. First, about the venue. It is tucked in on a corner behind the Capitol building. The (tiny) parking lot is at the opposite side of the building from the (almost hidden) entrance. There is a single handicapped parking slot, wedged into between a dumpster and a power pole; other handicapped parking is across the street at Wells Fargo. The interior bar/restaurant is small, dark, and closed-in-feeling. There is an outdoor patio area that is almost as large as the interior, but it fronts on Stewart, a very busy, noisy street. So, best bet is to order online (Grubhub, etc), or by phone, and take your Chicago-style pizza elsewhere to eat. Now: Chicago-style pizza. I have never tried it, not even in Chicago, but with all the rave reviews, I had to give it a shot. What I got was what looked like lasagna stuffing (without the pasta) baked in a cornbread pie shell. Hmmmm. Well, if thatâs what they like in Chicago ⦠Actually, the cornbread was the best part of the pizza.

I'm reading two reviews that would match my opinion of this place. My last five visits here I always say "this is last time." I go back because it's easy and much prefer supporting this type restaurant. Nice owner/staff. Overpriced for what is shipped from kitchen. Garlic bread charge is an insult. It's a toasted hot dog bun with butter/garlic for five dollars.
