Carrickfergus (from Irish: Carraig Fhearghais, meaning "Fergus's rock"), colloquially known as "Carrick", is a large town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It sits on the north shore of Belfast Lough, 11 miles (18 km) from Belfast. The town had a population of 27,903 at the 2011 Census. It is County Antrim's oldest town and one of the oldest towns in Ireland as a whole. Carrickfergus was the administrative centre for Carrickfergus Borough Council, before this was amalgamated into the Mid and East Antrim District Council in 2015, and forms part of the Belfast Metropolitan Area. It is also a townland of 65 acres, a civil parish and a barony.

Nice place near the City Hall. Had a spicy honey chicken. Freshly cooked and very good. Generous portions. White Pinot Grigio also fine. Recommendable!

A definate return. Delicate tasting authentic food. Great variety. Early bird - great value. Absolute mouth watering food - good variety. Chef was great at answering q's on food. Service was excellent. Nice jug cold water - refilled. Views glorious. Foodies - get this one on ure list!

Canât say enough good about this dining experience. It is not just going out for a meal, it is being lovingly served brilliant food by your best friend. Everything is catered for. Had a previous bad experience of this restaurant on the 3rd May. In response to my comments management invited myself and 5 of my family for a complimentary 3 course meal.Went on Friday night 11th June 2010 for this. The hotel and restaurant was extremely busy this however did not in any way affect our meal or experience. We enjoyed an excellent meal with excellent and professional service and we will return in the near future for another meal.The starters were excellent and the steaks were some of the best ever, cooked as per order, deserts were also very good. We had the choice off all 3 menus, bistro, set menu and curry menu (friday night is curry night). My wife had the curry (I also tried a little bit) and it was delicious and spicy. Get choice and value on all 3 menus.Thanks to the staff of the Clarion for taking my previous comments on board. This was an excellent meal.Thank you very much for taking the time to post your experiences of Pizza Worx on Tripadvisor.
