Our French friends raved about this place, and they were right! We ate the margarita, 4 fromages, kebab, buffalo, indienne and the chevre-miel pizzas. The crusts were not thick and the flavors were refreshing. Even my picky American children liked these pizzas. My favorite was the chevre-miel ( goat cheese-honey) because of the salt and sweet taste. I would highly recommend La Frit'zza Groumande.

Firstly let me say that this is a small, family run business that is welcoming with a decent menu. The salads and pizzas are very good and more than ample for the hardiest appetites. The tables are not all that comfortable, but when everything else is closed in Carcassone, this is an oasis of satisfaction

Pizzas were really tasty and the omelettes were great, especially if you want a light lunch or evening meal. We ate there 3 times and enjoyed each meal.Service was good and staff were friendly and helpful.

We live only just down the road from Pizza Jack and noted how popular it is. In fact it gets so popular that it often closes early to complete the orders it has. A lovely man serves and cooks the pizzas freshly. We had friends recently stay and we used Pizza Jack. The pizzas were very good and cooked in great ovens. It is a little walk away from the Carcassone Centre but is certainly worth considering. We will certainly be ordering fron them again.

Visited this restaurant again after a long gap of several years. It hadn't really changed and didn't disappoint. The cassoulet was tasty but there was far too much of it - it would easily have done two. The veal dishes were also good. Reasonable value for money and a nice atmosphere with pleasant staff.

We popped in here for pizza on the way back to our villa and were instantly greeted with Bohemian style posters...the staff were accommodating and helpful and we ordered our pizzas. Whilst waiting, one of the locals approached us and began chatting...and through my broken French and his broken English (mostly the latter actually) we instantly fell right at ease. We got his opinion of where we should visit (Narbonne not Toulouse he said...I can't tell you on here the profanities he used for the latter however....upon visiting both...he was right) Anyway...suffice to say we thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas and then returned on our final night there for a sit down meal. I ordered the escargot starters and assumed it would just be a dozen small snails, but as the picture shows..we got a mountain of them and all delicious. My daughter had the burger and loved it...and I asked for my steak medium-rare but the waitress said she couldn't do that...and suggested saignant. I agreed and this turned out to be rare...a breakdown in communication and reminded me of my need to polish up on my French. That said...it was absolutely delicious and so creamy and melt in the mouth...a miscommunication I'm glad that happened. All in all a fantastic little place which is full of locals, but who are more than happy for the outsiders to join them. I shall be returning here upon my return to Carcassonne.

Cuisine typique italienne, pizza, tiramisu,pâte fait maison da un vrai italien du sud ,vous vous sentirez en italy
Our first night in the area ever. After an 8 hour drive from Paris to our little village, we were tired and starved. The streets had rolled up for the night. We drove to Carcassonne in search of anything... It must have been a Sunday because we drove round and round and nothing was opened anywhere. It was maybe 9pm and we were hopelessly lost and suddenly we saw lights on here. We took the chance and went in. It was quiet with only one other table finishing their meal. And the restaurant was gearing down for closing. But Luck was on our side and we were welcomed with open arms..The pizzas we aordered were fresh and large and to us the best thing we ever tasted...That was 6 years ago... We spent the next 5 years trying to find this place again. We had been lost, tired, and it was dark and we didnât even know itâs name or where it was.We knew we would recognize it though if we saw it again and miraculously last year we did... LâItalia is now our favorite Pizza Restaurant in Carcassonne and one we visit at least once or twice during each trip...It was worth the wait...

Ouvert Du Mercredi Au Dimanche (le Soir Uniquement) .
My pizza expert of a wife, who is eating for two, went to this restaurant last night for dinner after reading the reviews here on trip advisor. Firstly the restaurant is much nicer than would first appear, with a lovely outdoor space round back! The staff are very friendly and helpful as our French is probably at a beginner level. The pizzas themselves were fantastic and unique! Although I felt mine was a bit confused with too many ingredients! Never the less it was delicious. My wife had a margarita which she couldnât finish and has the rest for lunch today (yes I am jealous). We also shared a side salad which was delicious! However, the dessert stole the show! We managed to find some space for the panna cotta, with a mango sauce and crunchy chocolate it was fantastic! We would certainly go back and recommend, I would say it narrowly misses out on a fifth star, as I do think there are slightly better pizzas out there still! But this is coming from a couple who spent two weeks travelling around Italy eating pizza! Please go visit I promise you wonât be disappointed!
