I stopped at Jakes Pizza for a quick snack before watching the sun set at Sunset Beach and I could tell by the slice that it had been sitting for quite a while. The sauce had very little flavor and the cheese tasted warmed up.To be fair it was the late afternoon but I can not believe that Jake himself who was cooking in front of me had the nerve to want to serve such an old slice. I would have to try it again when it is busy but I did not think much of my slice of cheese pizza I had there.

Iccaraâs is fairly new but already a very popular dining spot. On our recent week long visit to Cape May we were so impressed by the food that we had dinner at Iccaraâs 2 nights in a row, including our wedding anniversary. Food was spectacular and delicious !

This is a BYOB place but offers bottles of wine from a local winery at their market. Wine was ok. Apps were great, we enjoyed the antipasto, baked clams, and chowder. Entrees were average but large portions. We had the scampi linguini, veal parm, ravioli Combo, penne with rabe and sausage, and the filet. Parm and scampi were very good. The others might as well have been previously frozen. The place was busy and the waiter and helper worked hard and kept things moving but the kitchen perhaps could not keep up and maintain proper quality. The chocolate mousse cake was very good. Rob ably would've been better if was less busy.

A satisfying morning of birding in beautiful Cape May left us hungry desiring a quick inexpensive lunch. After reading the reviews and getting a recommendation by a fellow birder off to this Italian deli we went. Fortunately they had complementary parking in front of the deli. Both indoor and outdoor dining was available as well as take out. We placed our order at the counter and waited as others that ordered after us received their food we became concerned inquired and after 15 minutes received our order without an explanation. I had tuna on a roll it was delicious however my husbandâs roast beef sandwich was uninspired and in his words awful; not only was the order in correct, omitting the mayonnaise salt and pepper instead adding onions lettuce and tomato. Unfortunately, having a picnic on the beach we realize this too late. The roast beef lacked flavor and was not even close to where the way a great roast beef sandwich should be. I was happy that a small bag of potato chips were included with each sandwich. Our two sandwiches cost $20.

Five of us enjoyed various entrees and appetizers. Everyone was pleased with their selection. One negative comment about the size of the ravioli entree (not enough raviolis) BYOB is an added bonus.

This is not speedy, but personally, I like that. If you want fast food, go somewhere else. We loved the unusual taste selections and the Lima Bean Chili was delicious. We asked for garlic with our Avocado Toast and âYowza!â Definitely delicious for the garlic lover! We have never had room for dessert, but hopefully, the next time.Thank you for your review! Happy that you enjoyed your food! Eventually you will make it to dessert - I love the cantaloupe gelato (in season).

We go to Panico's on every visit to Cape May. In season I expect some delays in seatings. Panico's is not a 5 star restaurant but they do offer a consistent meal for a reasonable resort town price. Our visits usually consist of Jersey battered tomato, truffle fries and I always get one of their pizzas. During this visit my wife ordered the chicken cutlet parm. Our meal was very good. Service was great and we will be back again in November. One bite everyone knows the rules........7.8

Here at Mario's Pizza and Italian Eatery we are a family run business. We are more than just a pizza place. We have a wide variety of pizza sold by the slice or the the whole pizza. We are known for are home made dough and sauce as well as our garlic knots.
Family-oriented and friendly pizzeria that has many, many offerings besides pizza. Friendly staff (owner, I think) took my order by phone, offering delivery (I didnât need it), then explaining my location and parking situation. The best part of Marioâs was the tasty Neapolitan Margherita pie and decent Caesar salad. Clean establishment, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

In the Spring of 1988 on the corner of Pacific and Spencer in Wildwood New Jersey, Letitia Negro opened a ten table restaurant known for "Home Cooking". The $9.95 three course price fix menu featured family favorites and "Made from the heart" cuisine. T
Tishaâs has always been a five star restaurant for my family and friends but our recent visit this past weekend left us very disappointed. We started with some excellent appetizers....their delicious fresh tasting calamari and an absolutely wonderful burrata salad with beets and heirloom tomatoes. So good that I will try and duplicate it at home. Entrees were definitely a problem. My wife got their special which was seafood pescatore . It was literally a huge plate of mussels in their shells. After picking the mussels out of the shells, there were literally just two shrimp and two scallops. I am not kidding you. For $32, this dish was appalling. My pork Marisa was not much better. It was described as a pork chop with apple brandy sauce and Gorgonzola crumbs. It was so devoid of flavor that I had to ask our waitress for more Gorgonzola. Luckily desserts helped end the night on a high note. Their flourless chocolate cake is one of the best weâve had and their key lime pie is the real authentic kind. Beyond the food though, our service was terrible; our waitress just disappeared. Plus it was so dark in the restaurant that every other table was using their flashlight app on the iPhone. I get that you want ambiance but turn the lights on. A disappointment for sure.

Excellent Italian food, nice atmosphere, great service. I had a veal dish topped with shrimp, artichokes and sun dried tomatoes. The veal was so tender you could cut it with a fork. They give you a complimentary small antipasta plate which is really nice. BYOB keeps the price down. Highly recommend.
