Cakes, sweets, fresh home made ice cream, coffee, tea and snacks! Refreshing on a hot summers day or heart warming during the winter this cafe always wins. Service good and with a smile, very clean, toilet facilities, easy to find and very well priced! It's a must!

Having climbed to the top of Speikboden it was great to relax and have some refreshment with great views of the surrounding mountains. One of their specialities is a sort of " Crepe", Italian style. Lots of people enjoyed this local dish , as did my wife.

This is where the locals from up in the mountains of Ahrntal go to eat...and boy was it busy. Unfortunately Very average food that seems to go back to the dark ages of cooking and flavouring with an abundance of butter. No fine dining or culinary experience to be had here. Service is slow and basic. The table decorations where nice, bread was absolutely incredible and a large salad buffet was welcomed...I think I counted 17 dishes but unfortunately the waitress was not interesting in tipping up empty plates. The restaurant has three seating areas; two new and one old. High ceilings and windows give a warm and open atmosphere. No wifi available and outdoor seating is available. I didn't like the way our main dishes came out at different times from one another and had to wait 20 minutes between courses. In an area known for good food, wine and hospitality I was disappointed. Would not recommend and would not return.

Simple, fresh food cooked to absolute perfection! After meandering through the streets we were warmly welcomed to this cosy mountain hotel/Restaurant. The fire was lite and seated in the dining area. The menu consisted of the monthly specials, cold and warm starters, soup, main course and dessert. We could have tried everything on the menu but went for the salad, tartar, salmon, beef, gnocchi and the chocolate to finish with. The salad is the best Iâve had in italy; crisp, fresh and packed with herbs, avocado and all the goodness of local ingredients. My colleague had a generous portion of salmon and we shared the tartar. Unfortunately, for my preference, the tartar was a little flat and flavourless but thatâs my preference and I made this aware to the service staff. The beef was accompanied by fresh vegetables and the beef itself cooked on hay; the aroma was fantastic. I tried my colleagues gnocchi and again, very rich, wholesome and perfectly cooked. The kitchen team, from what we sampled excel amazingly in cooking local, fresh ingredients to absolute perfection. Thereâs no fancy flare or anything out of the ordinary which is the case nowadays with gourmet food. This is simple and extremely tasty. Service was done by a gentleman who was polite and very efficient in his work. Highly recommended!

I had dinner in this nice and inviting restaurant pizzeria located in the center of campo Tures - Sand in Taufers. I ordered the traditional tyrolean canederli and a Wiener Schnitzel as main course. Both were exquisite and the meat well cooked. Professional staff and very clean place.

We had a delicious lunch, the menu had both Austrian and Italian dishes and the staff is helpful and kind. Moreover, it is a characteristic and super nice restaurant. However, if you go by car be sure that you are fully equipped to drive on snow or ice, as the leading road is narrow and steep.
