I had a pizza which was quite nice, and a small green salad. Other half had a huge plate of smoked salmon which reportedly was great. What really makes the place stand out is the staff - so friendly and helpful.Good value too.

In long time I havenât had a delicious pizza. Thin, crispy crust and a fantastic combination of flavours. It takes a 20 minutes walk from the port, but is worth finding this place. Excelllent service. Well done,

Cuisine italienne et méditerranéenne généreuse et raffinée. Emplacement idéal au pied de la citadelle.
Ok , nothing startling, offered fish, potatoâs and salad to coeliac. Seems most meats and even risotto has some additive? Why?. We were only two people in all night! As we walked through town, everywhere else was busy? Not sure what that says.Staff were helpful.

Another very good restaurant on Rue Clemenceau. Buzzing with atmosphere. We managed to secure a table on the terrace overlooking the marina as the sun set over the Bay of Calvi and had a fabulous Wok du canard, gingembre et citronelle (duck stir fried with ginger and lemongrass) which we washed down with an equally delicious Clos Culombu 2017. Dolce was an ice cream on the way back to A Merula. A memorable evening out!

A very welcoming restaurant with excellent food. Itâs a little off the main strip but well worth a visit. The service is quick and the prices are very reasonable considering how delicious the food is.

Delicious wood-oven pizzas, and big (30-35 cm in diameter!). The pizza dough is extremely nice, as well as the toppings.Custom variations are possible. The staff is very friendly, and they have home made desserts... Very good too!The place has ca. 40 seats: outdoor patio and some extra tables with sunscreens. There are plenty of parking lots available, in front and in the back of the restaurant.Easy to reach. Coming from Ile-Rousse, on the left of the roundabout going into Algajola.Highly recommended for an excellent pizza in a very friendly atmosphere!Merci,Ã bientot

Overlooking the harbor this restaurant has glass wrap around windows that can close in inclement weather and winter.I dined here in the off season and there was still room before 8 pm. Thereafter the place was heaving but service was still pretty swift. Once you order it goes to take very long for good to come out if you put your order in before the big evening rush.If you donât want to eat pasta or pizza, there is not much choice for vegetarians especially if you are vegan or font line goat cheese. There is one veggie salad yo be precise but it is yum as is the version with chicken strips and nuts.Their desserts are to die for. Especially the mango, passion fruit mousse with a sorbet.Price is reasonable for quality. With no alcohol and starter, my salad main, dessert and a tea came to about Euro 25.

Found this little restaurant on a walk through the mountain village of Zilia in Corsica.Run by Isabella and partner ,this is a small friendly little restaurant only open at weekends in winter ,but has a large terrace for summer eating outdoors.Food is excellent along with local wines ,and served up by Isabella in a very friendly manner . Has a take away facility as well .Go and support this local venture, and taste her digestifs ,they help you get home .Thank you Isabella.

Although this place is little more than a shack with tables outside our family of five had the best pizzas we had ever tasted. They cook them in a burning hot wood oven, so they come slightly singed round the outside, but they really are delicious, partly because of that but also they really know how to use ingredients and combinations to make them taste delicious. The pizzas are huge so even our hungry teenage children couldn't finish them, so they give you a box to take them away, but we all made room for a shared Nutella pizza for dessert - sounds as if it would be horrible, actually it was really good! And for a change it was (by London standards anyway) cheap - only 65 Euros for six pizzas and five drinks, two alcoholic. They don't speak English and the menu is in French, but it's not really a problem. The best pizza had goat's cheese, honey, potato and rocket and although it doesn't sound like it would work it really does, an unusual combination but delicious. They seem to cook the pizzas almost one at a time, so you do have to wait, but when you are sitting outside and it's warm and you are relaxing that's not a problem. To find it if you are coming from Calvi drive to the airport and keep on going, it's on the left and you can park across the road. There is nothing much else out here but if I was flying into Calvi and was hungry it's the first place I would go! Do go, you won't be disappointed and we will definitely be back.

Little Shop, a family run, with production of fresh pasta, meats, cheeses and Italian specialties, possibility to eat on the premises, both inside and outside, in a beautiful terrace, which takeaway
My wife and I had a lovely dinner here. The owners are extremely nice and friendly, they almost feel like family from the moment you step in, the whole atmosphere is super simple, but absolutely nice and relaxed. The food doesn't need to be reviewed, it's just AMAZING. Simply go and try it yourself. Our absolute final review? We're going to delay a bit our trip just to be able to go back there tomorrow for lunch. Can't wait!
