Typical Local food can be sampled here. They have a few non Filipino items on the menu. Their preparations are mostly local and well prepared. Service if friendly and efficient. Restaurant is not as luxury as may be expected but it is comfortable. A good place to go while in CDO.
you dont have to catch the attention of the waiters, before you fully raise your hand to call them, they are already hurrying towards you. Baked pampano was excellent. Lengua was very good. Brazzo was a surprise delight, it had some satisfyingly strange flavor, I discovered later it was the mix of salted eggs.Thank you so much. It was our pleasure serving you. Hope to see you again

A typical Sbarro restaurant. The food is good and so is the service. Prices are reasonable. It is a good choice for pizza and pasta.
First impression was good. A spacey, well decorated restaurant. The service was good and the pizza was OK. It's a pity that they serve drinks off the shelf rather than from a fridge. I'm afraid that anywhere that sells warm Coke will not get my vote.
Atossa is run and owned by an Italian Chef from the UK of Middle Eastern descent. I was surprised to see the wide selection of Italian dishes as well as Persian ones. We ordered 5 different kinds of pizza and tried their Carbonara, Aglio Olio and Lasagna. Best Aglio Olio in the city for me.

To be honest, we ventured here because it was rated the 3rd best restaurant in Cagayan de Oro. We really take heed of the advice given by other travelers and most of the time the reviews are quite accurate. We are going out of our way to review this place with honesty, so that other travelers do not make the same mistake we did. This cafe is NOT quite as it appears in the photos. What you do not see is that this is a make shift cafe in someone's home...Not exactly ambient. The food was edible and the staff was friendly enough. I could see this being fine for someone in the neighborhood, but it certainly does not deserve the ranking that it has. If you are visiting Cagayan, I wouldn't suggest you go out of your way to visit here.

I've always liked Yellow Cab. Not love but like. It was comfort food.On a busy day, we decided delivery in CDO. Manila's delivery is a well oiled machinery. With the Yellow Cab brand, I expected the same in CDO.Unfortunately, the front liner who answered my call did not seem to know what he was doing. He kept on interrupting me and finally got my order wrong. When asked to compute our order, he placed the phone down and I could hear him in the background conferring with someone else.He put me on hold for eternity and finally I put the phone down out of frustration. When I called back, I asked to talk to the manager who apologized for the lapse and offered to call me back - something that should have been done in the first place. So in summary. Good food. Good dine in. I just had the bad luck of having someone who didn't know what he was doing answer my call. When in CDO, lower your expectations for delivery. It will drive you crazy.

Pane e Dolci is best known for Sylvannas in Northern Mindanao. Sylvannas are Filipino desserts made of meringues that have been filled and coated with buttercream and crumbed with crushed cookies. Pane e Dolci Launched Caffe Zibetto (Civet Coffee) in 2016
I like everything in this shop. All the desserts are delish. Their opera cake is to-die for. Their sylvannas are the best and should be something to be claimed as one of CDOs pasalubongs. They also serve the best and the most expensive coffee in the city to date. They're the only coffee shop that sells civet coffee in the city. The price is all worth the experience and will let you crave for more. Definitely we will be going back to their place again and again. Their cafe foods are also two thumbs up. We tried their Beef Lasagna and Quiche Lorraine, all so great!

It's Italian-Fusion cuisine, the earthy, organic and industrial concept design personally by the owner. It's perfect for date night, group and family hang out. And the food are all fresh and organic.
At one time, La Vetta was by far the best restaurant on CdO, south of Manila for that matter. We'd make excuses to drive from Dipokog to eat at La Vetta. But Carsten moved to Canada. Canada's gain, CdO's loss. Then for several years, nothing special. Circa 1850, with a few cooks and waiters trained by Carsten was the best of a so-so bunch. Now there's another real, world-class restaurant in CdO: Resto Freeno. Our first meal there. My spiced lamp cutlets had a better flavor than the rack of lamb at KRI, the top restaurant in Dumaguete (and at half the price). (The lamb meat itself was not as tender as at KRI, however.) My wife's salmon received nothing but praise from her, a harsh critic. The blueberry and chocolate gelato were flavorful and smoothe. GREAT meal. I'll be back for lunch tomorrow before we return home. COME. We will come back too as soon as possible.

Italian dishes are among my favorites. I always want to start with prosecco then segue to white or red depending on what Iâm having. First, the place didnât have prosecco. Forgiven. So compromise: white wine. For some strange reason, it took them close to 15 minutes to bring out the bottle which I had personally chosen. Then we had a bottle of red wine for the main course. And it was the last bottle! This was around 8PM. What was even bad was the appetizers arrived AFTER the main course. The staff was also largely unavailble. They need to really improve.
