restaurant with an outdoor setting close to the river. Easy parking, good menu with a number of daily specials ranging from 15-25 CHF, not cheap but the food is quite ok, though portions as always "Swiss size" (small). A nice selections of beers also making this a nice place for a lunch.

This classy old Bernese Gasthof serves very nice Italian food. Open Sundays and most other days the management is eager to please their guests and is open when the traditional places are closed. All the food we had was very good, nicely presented and cheerfully served.

Trinacria ist in einer Liegenschaft untergebracht, welche sich nicht unbedingt für ein Restaurant eignet. Umso mehr erstaunt die Qualität der Pizzen. Diese ist sehr gut. Die ganze Familie hilft im Restaurant mit. Der Service ist dadurch zwar freundlich, aber doch eher laienhaft und improvisiert. Am besten bestellt man sich dort die Pizza nach Hause oder holt sie ab. Das Ambiente, um die Pizza dort zu essen, stimmt für mich nicht.

Mit der Familie am Abend gegessen und es war gut. Die Vorspeisenauswahl eher mager und darum haben 3 Personen den Crevettencocktail gegessen. Zum Hauptgang dann von Kalbsschnitzel Limone über Pizza bis zu Gnocchi gab es alles bei uns. Das Essen war gut, die Betreuung ebenfalls. Preis ist eher hoch für einen einfachen Italiener.

I visited twice during a recent visit to an exhibition in Bern. I've been visiting regularly for about four years and enjoy the hospitality.This month's visits resulted in good quality meat, though the potato part of the meal was dissappointing. The menu offers a good selection and the pizzas seem to be very well regarded.

It looks like quality has gone down during the years. Pizzas were very basic variations of each other, without much topping. The pastas were not cooked al dente and the sauces were also very basic. Other dishes were good, probably because the schnitzel and risotto are less common dishes and thus had to be made taking more time.
