This small restaurant/ pizza shop in Montour Falls, just south of Watkins Glen turned out to be excellent. There are only a few booths as most people get it to go. As seen in the photo they have an extensive menu for the size of the place. You order at the counter so if you mind that sort of dining this may not be for you. We did not mind at all and the food was worth it. We had sandwiches and they were very good and the price was quite inexpensive.
We have several pizza places with extensive menus as does Pudgies. We found their pizza quite delicious and will be back often to try other menu selections/

We ate here a number of years ago when we were visiting Watkins Glen area and were happy to return. The minute you walk in the door, the smells of the food make your mouth water! It is a very homey feeling place with very friendly staff who took great care of us and everyone around us. There was a nice gentleman playing music on a keyboard - nice old fashioned, soft, background-type music that we enjoyed throughout our dinner. I had the Chicken Livornese, which was chicken sautéed in marsala wine & mushrooms and was topped with mozzarella. The salad was fresh and the homemade Italian dressing was the best! My husband ordered Eggplant Parmesan. The amount of food was huge! We both had a side of spaghetti and the hot cheesy garlic bread was phenomenal!

I have no idea what was wrong with our waitress, but she was extremely unpleasant. I waited a few days to write this to have a level head because we left feeling like we were a huge inconvenience. We arenât the type that demand a bunch of silly things and expect the world, but we werenât even treated with common decency. If you canât stand to be around people and rolling your eyes, making huffing noises, and being asked for things like the bill are issues, itâs probably best to not be a server. It wasnât even that busy so Iâm not sure what the problem was. I also had a very uncomfortable night after eating here. I canât have dairy and this is what happens when I have dairy. There are reasons why people tell establishments that we canât have dairy. Itâs not to be special, or an inconvenience, itâs to avoid the night I had. Anyone who knows what this entails can understand how awful it is. I essentially paid to get sick and to have a nasty attitude thrown in our direction. Brilliant. We will never visit again and would never recommend a restaurant like this.
